Veal bothers me more than lamb...Will eat lamb. Will not eat dog because, well, I love dogs.
Will not eat pufferfish because even a 2% chance of death is high.

My sister and BIL belong to a group who save dogs from Korea who are being breed for meat. They adopted one of the dogs. Really pretty dog but is not friendly in that he is skittish of people taking a long time to warm up (if ever).

You aren't implying that a cheeseburger isn't healthy, are you?

That may also depend on the salad. Some salads are loaded with so many caloric and fatty items they are a calorie bomb. Sometimes a hamburger can be a better option....

You are right. I have seen what some places call a salad. Mine is a handful of lettuce, a slice of cucumber and two or three cherry tomatoes with a tiny amount of dressing. I do add feta if I have any. And I love Panera Fuji Apple salads. I could practically survive on salads with an occasional Subway sandwich thrown in.
The poke bowls we had were really delicious at the Japanese restaurant last week. There is an excellent Japanese restaurant here and I eat there sometimes. The waitresses will always recommend something they think I will like. I try the various sushi and other dishes.

I think this week is national hamburger day/week. DD told me WEndys had a deal for a few cents. Black Angus has a buy one get one free on their hamburgers. I haven't gotten a hamburger in a long time but have taken a bite from one of my family members. Mostly because I would have to chuck the bun. Same with sandwiches.

McDonald's had 50 cent cheeseburgers yesterday. I can eat a small part of the bun and just throw the rest away. I can't even finish the whole cheeseburger and it is a small cheeseburger. I get McDonald's fish sandwich sometimes. It is not that bad and a quick and easy meal.
But after I can eat an entire six inch Subway sandwich with the bun. That still surprises me.

Haven't had a burger in a long time? Were you recently paroled? One of the detainees just swapped with Iran? I don't understand.
