A friend told me that as long as your kindle doesn't connect to Wi-Fi, it doesn't return your book, although it returns it in the system. I alternate my downloads to my kindle and to my kindle app for this reason, lol

Yes on the meme! I want my coffee (cold brew) but don't give me your unasked for opinion. Or maybe I should qualify I am ok with your opinion but don't be triggered by mine if it is contrary to yours! People "shoot from the hip" when triggered by opinions that don't coincide with theirs. Take a breath and step away before responding please! I had a recent conversation about this exact issue and how hard it can be on a persons mental well-being as they feel like some comments can be perceived as an attack on the person. I think this is an issue that should be at the forefront of our minds as we try to support each other. Just my opinion (don't be triggered ?).

QOTD: today I am still in Costa Mesa. Today I am doing a hot yoga class before meeting my friend from when I lived in the LA area (up closer to Van Nuys). We haven't seen each other since we moved from CA 17 years ago. We are going out to lunch then hanging ut for the day. I then have a 2hour Thai/Swedish deep tissue massage this evening. $140 for 2 hours is a great deal in my experience! I have planned DoorDash dinner already. Doing some Thai Chicken Curry with mixed veggies (no rice as it doesn't sit well with me). Tomorrow morning I go home. Will get an inferno pilates workout in after I get home. I took Tuesdays off so I could meal prep and prepare for the rest of the week. Otherwise Tuesday we have Tina the Musical. Then just work and workouts.

I will comment on the OH Conference this week when more of our group will be posting. My only bummer is the rooms were BRRRR....

Good morning! It's gray and drizzly here. I'm finishing up my version of coffee and then planning on a good walk and then I marked a yoga routine I want to try. It's all about inner thigh work out. Wonder if I'll hate myself in the morning?

Yesterday was wonderful. House, patio and bar garage scrubbed. Wonderful neighbors for wine and heavy apps. Completely enjoyable and productive day. My one real bad was I did not eat enough during our "dinner" hour and I ended up getting out of bed and wolfing down some tortilla chips. I honestly can't remember the last time I got out of bed to eat. But there was no way my stomach was letting me fall to sleep. I wish I had chosen the chicken breast bites in the fridge, but nothing I can do about that now! And then with food in my belly I was able to go to sleep and had a pretty successful nights sleep. Sorry if I stole the sleeping turn, QJB!

Today I just need to do a load of laundry and precook the pork ribs. The kids and the grands are coming for dinner and I have an art project for the grands so the adults can talk and they can help me do some technology stuff that I can't figure out.

QoTD: fancy fundraiser, HIIT, yoga, business meeting lunch, girlfriend lunch. Should be a good week!

Menu today

B: leftover veggie lasagna. It's a tiny piece so I might fry an egg to on the top. A fried egg turns anything into breakfast food.

L: leftover rolled taco

D: We picked all things the kids and grands love, and not much is healthy for me. I should grab some fresh tomatoes or something to help me out. BBQ ribs (I am also doing a few chicken thighs because I'm not sure how my gut will handle bbq ribs), mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, Kings Hawaiian bread rolls. M&M cookies and lemon bars. I won't eat all these things. But I'll have to navigate carefully. And we have a nice bottle of wine to share. More danger for me.

I only get up to eat if I have reactive hypoglycemia then my go to is Greek yogurt with some nuts stirred in. Have a fun BBQ.
