Just had to post as I'm wrapped around a café latte while sitting at my gate at LAX, so this meme speaks to me.

The conference was great and I snagged my ticket for next year already (thanks OH team!!). Lots of great exhibits, information, and sessions. The plastic surgery consultations were...eye-opening. Made some great connections and it was good to meet some of the menu crew.

Plans this week are to get through work and calibrate planning for the scope of my impending Oktoberfest/road trip in a couple weeks. Pretty sure I'm going to make the attempt at a "regular" trip for me, which will mean landing in New England to soak in some fall. As long as my car is good, I can't wait to hit the road!

Food is barebell bar, builder bar, croissant, coffee thing...TBD when I get home. My bag of protein bars, bananas, and my wrap wrap that I missed are waiting diligently for me by the door. Conferences are cold.

Oh, and I managed to avoid almost all pictures until the exercise session yesterday morning and then winning a raffle basket. Yay for winning something, though!

Cheers!

You were the only one of us who actually one a prize. I am jealous! But I did "win"the measuring spoons you didn't want (thank you). The OH board peeps were an Andy pleasure to meet and hang with. Great group of girls on this trip.

Everyone got participation prizes at Kate's session! She had good stuff to share, so I'm glad you were good to rehome the spoons. I don't think I could have fit a single extra thing into that bag.

Loved spending some time with you all! Safe travels home.

Good morning ~ Hope you feel better, Mel. I had a great day yesterday - lots of exactly what I wanted to do and today will be more of the same. I finished SK's Holly yesterday and went and read the reviews on Amazon. I laughed my ass off! Jen - I now get what you meant - it was great! Started another fluff boo****il I find my next must read that speaks to me. I have 4 audible credits but I live for the free library stuff and save my credits for special things. Today is walking the dogs at the park, laundry, NFL, kiddo is coming over and I'm making turkey chili. Easy peasy chill day.

b- coffee x2 and eggs

l - big mac burger bowl

d - turkey chili

s - tomatoes, jerky and ?

Have a great day!!

I just realized several weeks ago that my library has a version of audible (Libby). Therefore I decided to cancel my audible subscription since I am willing to wait for the book to become available as opposed to purchasing something I will only listen to once. That is just my personal preference though.

I use Libby 99% of the time but sometimes I don't want to wait! Depends on what it is - like Stephen King or some other highly rated/recommended, must read novel? Totally worth the credit.

I really enjoyed it once I got over Holly's new voice. It was the character that played Holly in the Mr. Mercedes TV series and not Will Patton's Holly from the Mr. Mercedes/Outsider audiobooks. I really, really missed his version of Holly.
