Yay for Fri-yay!

Wow, QJB, that's a lot of rain. Hopefully the weather will hold for your gathering.

Not much going on in my neck of the woods. I have a facial later today. I was supposed to help a friend move her daughter to college but sorta got un-invited because the son is going with her. All good because I'm sure the daughter would prefer her brother than me, even if she has known me all her life. At least I was able to get them a hotel close by so they don't have to deal with driving at the crack of dawn that day.

QOD - yesss! Me and my son love candy corn and don't understand people who say it stinks or taste bad. And if we can find it we actually love the pumpkin shape candy corn. I was so excited when I found a bag of it for his Halloween care package. We don't give out candy corn because it is not wrapped so it's all for us.

So, remember I said the DMV guy kept yelling at me when taking my pic? The real ID arrived and I'm not mad at my pic.

Good morning everybody!

I have kind of a Tale of Two Weekends. The first half is super-busy: work today, then 3:30 CrossFit, then Ribfest and Third Eye Blind tonight. Tomorrow, up early to lift, a seminar at Orvis, and lunch with Marilyn. But after about 2:00 tomorrow, I have nothing for the rest of the weekend.

My older son has a job interview as a result of attending career fair on Wednesday. It's probably just a screening interview, but both boys have been spending money like drunken sailors, so it would be welcome news.

I'm getting Marilyn a toaster for our anniversary. It must be a sign of our ages, but I actually think that she is going to be excited about it. More jewelry or purses will just go in the closet, but she loves toast.

QOTD: Same as QJB. On the one hand it's candy, but definitely meh on the candy scale.
