Lol, my brain is a scary place! It's one of the first grown up books I read, I can still picture the hardback book jacket. My grandma was in a bit of trouble when it turned out she let me read it at 8.

Mornin' All!
I have a PT appt at 9:00 and class at 4:00. In between, I'll pack for my trip to the OH conference, read stuff for my classes, and bike. I'm leaving here at around 7:00 tomorrow morning to go to O'Hare. I ordinarily don't go to O'Hare for domestic flights, but if it means saving around $200 on airfare (which it does this time), I will.
QOTD: when I was a kid and teenager, yes - but now, no. I can't remember the last time I re-read a book.
my weight is up over my limit again, so I'm just going to focus on meeting my protein requirement today. So:
skyr
protein shake(s)
not sure what else. (hopefully this is mostly water and/or backup....)
have a great day, everyone!!

The whole reason I'm flying into LAX and driving is the $300-$400 savings. The things we do for a deal! Oh, and flying Allegient, because that's always fun.

I'll be on Southwest. Madison does have Southwest, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, oddly. But flying between regional airports (like Madison and Santa Ana) is always pricey, so it wouldn't have been a bargain, even if I was flying out and back on those days. It wasn't too bad out of Chicago (since that only involves only one regional airport) - but flying between ORD and LAX would have been cheaper, of course. But then once you factor in car rental, not really. At least not in my case. So ORD to SNA it is!
Good morning all. I got nothing new. Same old, same old. I'm good with that.
I have ham and a roast today. The diversity! It's crazy.
QOTD: I will periodically re-read books that I love. I've read Heinlein, Asimov, and Patrick O'Brian several times. I generally don't read nonfiction a second time, but I do often look things up.
Sometimes I like new things. Sometimes I like reruns. Books, tv, movies.
