I had to look at that picture way too long to figure out why they weren't tacos.

yah for getting out on the walk, being heard and not being at the office the full day!

I had to look for an embarrassingly long time to see anything but a taco. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised that I need to get my life together!

I am so happy for you that things are going so well at work. It sounds like all your hard work is paying off, well deserved.

It took some very hard studying of the picture to see the pineapple not tacos.

Mornin' All!

well things have been super busy this past week, and will be next week as well. Fall is here, so things have started up again - and so have my classes. I love the two in-person ones, of course. One of the online ones looks like it'll be interesting as well. I'm not so sure about the one at the Milwaukee campus (online), but I'll probably keep it and just check in sporadically. It's worth it to keep my student status active so I don't have to re-apply next semester. Plus it's online - she'll never know if I'm "attending" or not, since it doesn't have live lectures (just recorded ones posted to the class web site). But the three others should be good. I'm probably not going to have time to do all the readings, though - in light of everything else going on (how do full-time university students do it? I guess I didn't do all the readings back then, either??).

I'm going to the library this morning because I want to finish up a couple of things I've been needing to do to update our trust. I've been sitting on it for a month, and it'll probably take me an hour or so to just do it. Film group meeting over lunch. Nothing in particular this afternoon, so I'll work on classes. Another crazy week next week, then off to the OH conference on Thursday.

QOTD: depended on the school I was attending at the time (we moved a lot, but not as often as Jen). K-2: walked, We even walked home for lunch every day, because it was an old-timey neighborhood school and didn't even have a cafeteria. 3-5: rode a bus. 6: walked. School was three blocks from our house. 7-9: I was eligible to ride a bus, but I hated the bus and usually walked. Plus several of my friends walked, so I'd walk with them part of the way. 10: walked. 11-12: rode the bus the first part of 11th grade, then rode with friends (we'd just moved there, so it took me a couple of months to meet people - and once I did, some of them drove to school and our house was en route, so...there!)

B: I was thinking of making sourdough crumpets (first time!), but I'm having lunch out, so I'll probably wait and make them tomorrow. So maybe just Ratio yogurt with fruit

MS: protein shake?

L: I usually get half a turkey sandwich with some vegetables at the meeting place, but I may get French onion soup today

AS: more Ratio yogurt

D: meatless taco filling with veggies, a dollop of plain Greek yogurt, and salsa

I'll start posting pictures occasionally once I can figure out how to download photos on my new MacBook!! (although I realize I can post them directly from my phone - although I didn't see any recent ones that were terribly interesting...)

have a great day, everyone!

Hopefully your class schedule isn't as stressful this time around as the last one was! It makes learning less fun for sure
