What's on your Thursday Menu?

Well, hellooo Thursday! We meet again.
I am not sure where my ability to sleep went this week, but I've lost it. I was tired too! The beach was lovely, but sitting in the direct sun for several hours always zaps my energy.
On any other night, I probably would have just gotten up at 1am and stopped trying, but we are going to be out late (for us) tonight. My friend has been taking improv classes for about a year and she has a show tonight in Boston. We're going out to dinner with her and her brother first, so it should be a fun evening. Other than that, I have a zoom networking meeting at 11am which I need to prep for, and lots of cookie stuff to do. Wake and bake has taken on such a different meaning for me this year, lol.
QOTD: What's an outdoor activity you would like to try? I used to waterski at camp when I was a kid and I'd love to try it again (even though my knee would certainly disagree!)
Accountability: I did not have the fried dough ice cream cone at the beach, and for that I think I should be rewarded with a minimum 10lb loss.
Today's plan: protein coffee, egg white veggie frittata, veggie burger, and dinner is here. Not sure what I will do yet because I generally avoid chicken and salmon at restaurants since I often get stuck on those.

Good mornin everyone.
I'm hoping today'll be our last 100° plus day this season. We're supposed to have a cool down starting Saturday. I'm 100% here for that.
The only thing set in stone today is my mom wants to go to Sam's. I wish we could just stay home but with the meth head neighbors my mom has to stay away as much as possible. I might go for a short walk with my mom but my pain may make it very short. I just don't know if I have it in me today. We'll see.
QOTD: hmmm I'd like skydive some day!
food is unplanned. I really need to get a grip on that stuff.
have a great day everyone!

Good morning all. Kids these days. They're closing a lot of schools in the area for the next couple of days, due to heat. In my day we sat in boiling classrooms without whining about it. And then walked home through 3 foot snow drifts.
QOTD: Outdoor activities? If outside is so good, why has mankind spent thousands of years trying to perfect inside?

And they talk about extreme weather swings here, you must have had to take all the clothes options to school each day.

Wear shorts, but carry a parka, just in case. That's my workaround.
