Good morning and I'm glad you are finally getting that beach day! Enjoy!!

Wednesdays, I start at about 530 so I usually have to move my workouts to the afternoon but today I got in a good rowing session and a short weights session (I switched to a one weight higher if dumbbells so I was glad it was short!) so that was nice. Busy meetings the rest of the day but one ended a bit early so I could jump on here, yay!

I had to remind myself hard yesterday that trying to reason with unreasonable people is a losing and crazy making choice. I did not but there was a time when I would have....#adulting...ugh!

qotd - I checked several times but I wasn't accidentally reading an Onion article. Over the weekend I read that there is rising concern among veterinarians that the anti vaccination mindset has spread to pets and people are choosing to not vaccination their pets even for rabies! !!Rabies!! I feel like everyone that gets a pet now needs to be made to watch Cujo, maybe a couple of times. Someone in the article even mentioned they were afraid the vaccine would give their dog autism. Sigh.

I have had my coffee and I realize I don't even have a plan for food. I have to make the falafel I didn't make yesterday so maybe that. It's been waiting for me since Friday. Probably yogurt too.

have a wonderful Wednesday (and I started to type terrific Tuesday but it's not Tuesday!)

But, you can track people who have had vaccines, right? Wouldn't tracking pets the same way be a plus?

I do vaccinate my pets, but I also had a cat years ago who got cancer on the spot where they injected for rabies. It was on her neck. Some cats get cancer from the rabies shot and the solution now is to put the shot into the leg, so they can amputate that leg if cancer develops in the rabies injection site.

If a pet is kept indoors and away from wild animals, there is probably almost no risk of them contacting rabies. My cat went through surgeries and radiation, but the tumor always came back.

The pet medicine industry can get very expensive and I can see people resisting it. I am old enough to remember kids sick, crippled or dying from polio, whopping cough, measles, chicken pox and mumps. I get all my vaccines and am glad that they are there, even though I accept that there may be some risk involved.

People are just plain crazy. Or maybe we hear more about them due to social media.

Oh good lord. I'm not sure how it's somehow worse that people would not vaccinate their animals than their children but it's just next level stupid.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

It's always a great day for a beach day. Looks like today is our last day in the 90° so this means tomorrow morning no excuses I have to get back to exercise. I have been procrastinating for a week, so my time is up. I hit a good rummage sale this weekend and ended up with three dresses for $1 each. I been wearing them to work trying to decide if any will be appropriate for the wedding, I have next Friday. I thought the one I had on today would win but I'm only a few hours in and it is already wrinkly. Yesterdays was white so that is out. Hopefully the one tomorrow will do the trick but I have one more Saturday I can search for something at flea markets, rummage sale, or an estate sale so we shall see.

QOTD: I got nothing today.

Accountability: None I didn't feel like exercising and did not feel like cooking, so we went Mexican and I ate all the chips. Today is a new day.
