I ordered bacon at Dunkin Donuts one morning and it was turkey bacon. One bite before I threw it away.

Turkey "bacon" is just about the worst food substitute ever created. Just no.

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday,

It's a beautiful day to be alive. The weekend was extremely nice. I took an afternoon to myself on Saturday. It was glorious.

Pumpkin Spice Coffee! I've been eyeing it and have decided to have two pumpkin spice coffees this fall. That's enough to feel satisfied but not having 15k of calories.

QJB - Do you hold multiple classes per week? Have you started having the cookie baking vocation vacation getaway yet?

QOTD - Ronnie Woo Woo. He's a Wrigley Weirdo and whoops, 'Woo Woo', every chance he gets. He has no affiliation with the Cubs but trades on their brand. He dresses in a crisp, complete Cubs' Uniform, going into bars and walking the streets around Wrigley Field. He is constantly pining for free tickets and money. I am not sure if he even actually likes the Cubs since I've never heard him talk baseball. I used to think he was a character but in a good way. I wouldn't be at a loss if he just went away.

Accountability: Spaghetti Carbonara and a piece of crusty bread at an Italian restaurant. I couldn't eat much but I'd do it all again.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: Rotisserie Chicken w caprese salad.

D: Leftover T-Bone --> Steak taco bowl. side southwestern style salad.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

You guys, I can't get her to go to the beach. I even tried putting my foot down. She needs to relax.

I ate all the crap last Saturday, and then did a good job giving away crappy food, and tossed the rest. It's nice to actually have control, rather than just be a human vacuum cleaner.

QOTD: I'd love to never hear Trump's or DeSantis's names, ever again. But I can pretty easily tune out the phony celebrities such as the Kardashians and their ilk. Unless someone is in the actual news, I just don'****ch.

another one - Vivek what's-his-face. I've only heard him two or three times - but the first five minutes were more than enough. He's annoying as hell - and insane to boot. I'm hoping he'll just be a flash in the pan.

I love cauliflower. I have a brother-in-law from Ireland. I once tried to serve him mashed cauliflower and told him it was the same as mashed potatoes. What he said to me cannot be repeated here.

I love cauliflower too. You can make it taste however you want. I love it raw or cooked. My favorite way it's to oven roast it until it's singed on the outside.

Good morning! So glad that I do not kneel at the altar of pumpkin spice. But this morning in Trader Joe's they were stocking up boatloads of PS everything. I saw coffee, pasta, seasonings, body lotion. I do not get it.

We had a real nice weekend visiting with Dad and then going to see a friend in Mesa. Planned in advance and had an AMAZING dinner in Tempe followed by a real fun ****tail bar where I, believe it or not, had only mocktails. I'm keeping my commitment to not drink hard liquor this year and working hard on my commitment to enjoy wine only on Friday and Saturday. In fact, we were supposed to go to a bbq yesterday but it got cancelled due to the host testing positive for Covid and my first thought was yay! I don't have to have an internal struggle over to wine or not to wine. That is always the question.

Today I have done my little mountain summit and my stairs up there along with squats, push ups and dips. Then I dashed to Trader Joe's officially to buy Unexpected Cheddar sausages that Sheila alerted me to. I got those, plus $70.00 in other groceries. But I should be good for the week. I rushed back home so I could put everything away and eat breakfast because I was dying of starvation. Probably why I spent an additional $70 bucks! I have PT in an hour and then I can be a couch potato all day if I wanna.

QoTD: Nobody put a hit out on me but I cannot stand Pat Sajak. I mean, I'd take him over the indicted one, RD and now Ramaswamy. But then again, there are very few people that I wouldn't take over them.

bites today

B: I made eggplant parmigiana from scratch last night for the first time ever. Pretty good and leftovers for breakfast were perfect

L: left over tortilla casserole from the great dinner Saturday night

D: chicken adobe, miso salad, brown rice for Rog and I might heat up a couple veggie egg rolls for the crunch factor.

Peace Everybody!
