G'morning all!

My day with Amy was great. We signed up for a great tour of the Hearst castle and we got lucky that it wasn't busy. We were told if we had gone a day earlier we couldn't have seen the rooms on the 4th floor, due to high temps. After the tour we went for a great lunch at a local cafe and finally around 4:00 pm we parted. As I said great day.

The whole purpose of this meetup was for Amy to give me her left over Premier Protein and protein bars. I expected like 10 shakes and max 5-7 bars. Oh but I was mistaken. When this woman is in the mood of shopping she SHOPS!!! I got about 5 cartons of shakes and a grocery bag full of bars. There are at least 70 bars from all brands known to man. I don't think I need to buy shakes or bars for the next 6 months.

My meals yesterday:

• Chomp stick
• Quest caramel candy bite
• Meatloaf w/few chips
• Built bar puff X 2

The Hearst family is involved in the management of the property although they donated the estate to the state park. The family can use the grounds and the pool and they sometimes do their events. I guess there was a wedding there recently. Due to liability they can't use the castle or sleep in the rooms. The pool is not heated and the temp of the water is about 60°.

They used to make movies there and sometimes you will see the pool in an old movie. It is such an amazing place full of treasures from all over the world.
