If anyone gives you a hard time about that second Babybel, Daisy will set them straight.

Good morning ~ That meme is truth! For me, it's up there with the saying 'you have to expend energy to create energy' -same. I was able to get all the things done at work yesterday, whew! It was like a competition and I won - felt great. Now on to five guilt free day off. We were down to 2 K-cups this morning, it's dire ya'll. We've both been so busy we are out of all sorts of important things - dog bones, paper towel, miralax and now coffee. Who's running this joint? Going to do a yoga session, hop in the shower and hit the road to meet Sheila at Hearst Castle - yay! It's been ridiculously hot/humid here but it will be sunny and a high of 68 in San Simeon which will be heaven to me.
QOTD - The hubs told me I looked really cute on my way out the door to work yesterday
B- coffee x1, protein cold brew
l - TBD
d- TBD
s- carrots, protein chips and beef jerky for the road
Have a great day!!
FINALLY back down to signature weight. Those 3 Vegas pounds were stubborn. Now to get the needle below that. Geez this is hard.

Mornin' All!
another beautiful day today! I have a massage appt at 1:15, but will do some biking beforehand. I spent an hour biking last night (before it got dark) and it was heavenly. I'm really enjoying this cooler weather, but unfortunately, it'll be short-lived. Temps back up around 90 are in store for us this weekend, and I think for a few days after that, too. Ugh. But I will enjoy today - and tomorrow.
PT seems to be working. Although my shoulders and upper arms are still achy, I've noticed an improvement there - and the physical therapist who took the measurements yesterday noticed a big improvement in my range of motion. I've noticed I can now reach up to the top shelves of my kitchen cabinets again. It hurts - but at least I can do it. So either time - or these exercises - are doing the trick.
QOTD: I had to think on this for a few minutes. I got lots of compliments on a salad I made for a birthday party I went to last weekend, so maybe that was the last one. I actually hadn't made this salad in at least ten years, but the host of the party specifically requested it. I told her I hadn't made that salad in years and had to dig up the recipe, and she promptly responded with a follow up message - with the recipe attached. I'd evidently given her the recipe years ago.
B: protein pancakes topped with plain yogurt and strawberries, coffee with half & half
L: not sure. I'm trying to eat more substantial meals, though, in hopes it'll curb the snacking. So something with protein, fiber, and fat
D: salad, some kind of protein (I'd better think more about this menu today or I risk screwing up. Did pretty well yesterday with eating, thankfully!)
have a great day, everyone!
