What's on your Thursday Menu?

In the 1980's and 1990's, we all had Franklin Planners. Every morning we made a handwritten list of tasks. Then ranked them with A, B, or C. A for Urgent, B for Should Do, and C for optional if A and B were done. Then assigned a number for each task. A1 was most important, then A2, etc.

We started with the list from the day before and carried over anything not completed. We had special books, covers, and special paper. When Franklin came out with software it was a big timesaver. Jim might be old enough to vaguely remember that days. Your Franklin Planner meant you were playing in the big league and the Japanese programmers would use them to salute each other if they passed in the hallway.

I am still almost that obsessed with planning and making lists.

We had those (96/97 time frame) and had to take a whole class to learn their method. Didn't stick but I did like the cover for the gigantic planner, lol.

I agree I don't know if I could go to bed tonight at 494.59 I would have to make it to 500. I run up and down my driveway one time, so my morning run is at least 3.1.

I did run down during my 15 minute lunch break and get myself to 495. It's a round number I can live with.

Good morning, everybody!

Speaking of pens, Marilyn was a little jealous that I had my 2024 datebook and she didn?t have her 2024 Lang Folk Art Calendar. She uses extra fine sharpies color coded by family member. The calendar is a lot less colorful than it was when everybody was at home.

So we headed out to Costco in search of her calendar. We couldn?t find it, but did locate 10 packs of small(ish) Chipwiches. One of those bad boys went straight into our cart. I had one when I got home and it was yum.

We also ran into a tennis lady at Costco. Her cart was filled with wine, Boursin and Triscuits. I told her we were twinning on dinner plans and she said ?do you really even need anything else??

My older son had exciting news. They have a Senior Design Class where they help a company solve a problem. It?s a 2 semester 6 credit class and they kind of apply to different companies to get paired. Anyway, my son got placed in his first choice. After all of the struggles with his schedule, it?s nice to see something go his way.

I have a lot going on at work today, I think people are hoping to wrap up today and start the weekend early.

QOTD: I got a fist bump from my partner after our team workout on Tuesday.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: sausage

Dinner: Fish Tacos

Have a great day, all!
