My HIIT class is not chair related. We do 6-8 different work out stations (like TRX machine, ropes, sit ups with weights, simulated rowing, high jumps and bench dips, battle rope, jump rope, etc) rotating through each and in between every two or three we stop and do one of the following: Balance work, run around the block, run up and down the street do high knees or grape vines or side twists, yoga, resistant band work, etc...then back to the stations, completing each station twice.. Our trainer is my age and is awesome. We get full cardio and full body workout. It's exhausting. But I don't think any of us love it. But so proud of myself when I crawl out of there after 65 - 80 minutes.

TRX is one of my favorite. I was telling my bestie that out of all the things I do, it's the one that makes me feel strong!!

And coordinated! Which is definitely not my strong suit. But yesterday I was up on the balls of my feet, leaning forward 90 degrees or so with my forearms through the strap part and using my core to spread out my arms and then pull myself back in. Not a good description, but it was work!! I also love the stationary machine that has a sliding board on it.

Your answer is a typical mom answer. First let's see who cleans up the mess.
Whenever DH wants to buy one more junk my first question is "where does it go?"

Always my first question!!! And if you don't have an answer I can live with, you can live without the crap.

QJB- love the meme as it is so true. Congratulations on getting your thesis finished and turned in today! Very exciting for you. Now you will need a new project to keep you busy. Maybe the cookie business should be full time? Enjoy lunch at the beach and your lobstah roll.

DD and I went to Blue Beetle yesterday. I am not a huge Marvel or DC fan but the movie was fun and well done. Very entertaining and I would recommend if you do like that kind of movie. tomorrow DD and I have the Ethiopian cooking class. Should be fun and some new flavors to try. Other than that the week ahead is just the usual work stuff and workouts.

QOTD: a horse sized duck would be intimidating but I'd rather fight one versus many have you ever come up against a goose that was mad?? Pretty scary so imagine 100s of angry duck sized horses! No thank you
