When I have a garage sale, I make sure that other people are with me and I do not get stuck alone with an unpleasant person like that. Most people are fair and honest. Don't let one like him get you upset. Good job on getting rid of him.

You should have told the guy that you would rather give away the leftover products to Goodwill than sell anything to him since he wouldn't take no for an answer. His tactics must work on some people.

Well it was back to the grind this morning after an amazing week off. I got so much stuff done around the farm with many bruises to show for all the work. Just finished getting caught up on things here at work, which wasn't as bad as thought it was going to be.

JB great job on getting the thesis done. I don't know how you do it. I could never go back to school.

QOTD: I'll take the 100 duck-sized horses. With some peppermints, sugar cubes and carrots I'll have those little suckers trained in no time. LOL **sidenote prehistoric horses were actually the size of a small dog and did not have the flowing manes and tails that modern horses have. They also had four "toes" which as they evolved turned into the single hoof we see today.

B: squash and eggs

L: homemade refried beans and shredded chicken

D: eggroll in a bowl

I did get my treadmill cleaned off and I'm hoping to get back on it tonight.

Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!

QJB - congrats on the last tweaks and finally freedom from no more papers to write.

I had an up and down weekend. Sat DH sprung on me an "easy" jog to see a nice view that I hadn't seen before. Don't wanna make it too long but let's say the jog was not pleasant nor easy. I ended up walking it and planning DH's demise. Even my Garmin watch when I clicked on run came up with a message to not do it and I need recovery. Did I listen? No!

Yesterday was a much more pleasant and enjoyable stroll on the cliffs along the ocean. It was a 6 miles loop but in comparison to Sat it was a walk in the park and I decided to keep DH and not kill him. So he survives another year. We finished the day with a beautiful dinner by the ocean.

QOTD: I'm leery of ducks, geese and all those birds. So I'd go with a hundred duck size horses.

My meals yesterday:

  • Hb eggs & coffee
  • Seafood ceviche, roasted Brussels sprouts, seafood salad
  • Brownie sundae
  • E: 6 miles walk

Happy start of the week!

Definitely behind the curve this morning on posting! I had a fabulous weekend with friends, grand babies, kiddos and way too many restaurant meals. But...that said, it was worth it. I exercised on Saturday and not much on Sunday. But I took the grands to the pool on Sunday and got some time with them and time in the sun and it was very fun.

Today I've accomplished my HIIT class. She took it easy on us because of the heat and we only went 65 minutes. And then I had about 45 minutes to shower and making to PT where they again made me sweat. A few things at Target later and I am home for the day and waiting for my colorist to show up this afternoon and reinforce the blonde I wanna be.

QoTD: I'm sorry. I can't get past how much poo there is going to be either way. So I can't choose.

Menu today

late breakfast. Maybe I should say brunch. Beef sausage, grilled veggies, 1/4 smashed avocado

L: also going to be late and will probably be leftover sausage cavatelli and some fresh tomatoes

D: I may make lasagna this afternoon using zucchini and cauliflower rounds. If not, more left overs as the fridge is overflowing from all the restaurant meals this weekend with friends.

Peace Everybody!

you're QOTD answer!

Is your HIIT class chair HIIT by chance? If so, what is that like? The HIIT I tried last week had me doing a 100 ups and downs within the 4 minutes I lasted. I hated every minute!
