Good morning menu crew,

Hanging on the couch today. Once my guts woke up this morning it was game on, so my job is fluids and some food. This is different from the other issues and seems more akin to food poisoning symptoms, so I'm rolling with it. Kind of amusing to prefer this over other things.

I seem to be on another losing streak and MFP is celebrating it. Good for a laugh, anyway!

QOTD - I'll take the duck. If you had said goose...it would have been tiny horses all day.

I saw the biggest roadrunner in the world on my picnic table yesterday. They're always so neat to watch with their almost refusal to fly. Also had a small herd of deer in my yard, and they're nice to see except that the bucks remind me hunting season is coming. Not that people around here ever stop shooting.

Food today is planned to be boiled eggs, buttered grits, ground beef and rice, protein pudding, oatmeal, and whatever I can manage. Probably more soup and peanut butter in there, too. Cheers!

I am glad you told us it was tea. I had no idea what I was looking at. It looks a bit like fish bait (worms or bugs). What flavor of tea?

It's a white tea called Bai Hao Yin Zhen from Harney and Sons. Love the flavor of full leaf teas.

I love miniature horses. Cedar Point is a roller coaster park, but one of their attractions is a lot of miniature horses and other miniature animals. You can pet them and feed them. They are about the size of a normal goat.

Can you imagine how cute and adorable a duck sized horse would be. Can you imagine doing anything except petting it? Fighting a duck or a horse regardless of size just seems wrong to me. Make love not war.

Cedar point has miniature animals? I had no clue. What other animals do they have besides horses? Where in the park are they located, if you can recall?

It is a long walk and now at 75 I rent a scooter to get there. The barn and pens are in the northeast corner back by the camping area. The usual petting zoo animals like lambs and baby goats, sometimes deer, but my favorites are the miniature horses. There used to be a jungle area with zebras, eland, lions, panters, tigers, pythons, and even wolves. That closed years ago when Ohio became stricter about laws for keeping and displaying wild animals.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,

Hope everyone's weekend was spectacular.

My garage sale was a success. I know people be peopling but I'm still surprised sometimes. A proper gentleman was looking at my vintage watches, lighters, and jewelry. He used a hand wipe and left it on the jewelry as her walked away. Seriously, who does that? My last shopper arrived an hour after the close time after almost everything was back inside my place. He tried to swindle me. Every word coming out of his mouth was a lie or a pity story. His hope was that I would sell him everything for .10 on the $1. He would not take no for an answer and he followed me to my front door. I finally said, 'I've told you I won't sell you anything. If you don't leave, I will be forced to take action to have you physically removed from the property.' He sat in his car, rolled his window down, and continued to try to make a deal. His last offer was .30 on the dollar. I was so fed up that I told him that I hope not to see him again. I'm disappointed with myself that I said that instead of taking the high road.

QOTD- 100 duck sized horses. I wouldn't care about the fight since I would be laughing too much about the dimunitive equines. I love shetland ponies so anything much smaller would be too funny.

Accountability: Lou's pizza for a birthday celebration. Homemade pita bread at the second B-Day dinner last night.
