Thanks to all of you for sticking around. I wandered away the last couple of years, and paid for it. I'll try not to wander again.

Hi fellow early birds! Nice job on 90% there for your paper. 5 more hours?! You?re a beast of a student. Your dedication is seriously admirable.

GRIM! Holy **** you should be proud of yourself. You are so committed. You were one of the first people I found on this board many moons ago and I remember seeing your signature line and thinking, ?wow he lost a ton of weight, could that be possible for me?? You?re a serious inspiration.

I should be hearing back today from the company where I had to present yesterday. And then tomorrow and Thursday and Monday I have 4 interviews with another company. It?s all exciting and stressful.

QOTD: hmmm my first apartment was when I graduated high school. My best friend and I got a very generic apartment and furnished it with all of our parents throw away items haha. We had a neighbor across the hall who chain smoked inside his unit! It reeked! But we felt the freedom and we loved it! She?s still one of my best friends and I just saw her a few weeks ago in Detroit!

OH is eating my post today. Grrr.
B: cottage cheese and everything but the bagel jalapeño seasoning

L: either leftover andouille chicken sausage or leftover Thai red curry ground turkey with snow peas

D: out somewhere! I'll probably get crab!

Have a fantabulous day, ya overachievers!

Good mornin everyone!

It hasn't been the greatest of nights. Not much sleep and when I did I woke up in tears from pain and nightmares. Lovely combination lol. My brain is so out of whack!

Grocery shopping today. I'm not going to get any snacking crap, that's my downfall. Just meat, veggies and some dairy. I've also decided to give eggs another go and see how I react. I so miss them and their easy protein. I'll be very attentive to reactions. I just have to eat better. Get over my crap and do what I need to do.

I made some wonderful green chili hamburger soup! It was so perfect. I used 5 fire roasted mild chilies and puréed it with beef stock. Its hamburger, chilies, corn, can of diced tomatoes, can of pinto beans, 1 onion, salt and pepper and garlic. I adore the fire roasted chilies! I am lucky that so many grocery stores here fire roast the in the summer weekends. What's left I'm going to purée for enchilada sauce to put in the freezer.

QOTD: I've only lived in an apartment when I was a baby to 3 years old. I've only lived in 4 different places my whole life. I pay my mom "rent" and pay two household bills currently.

food today is oatmeal, soup and pork.

a picture of my favorite one of these pendants so far. Copper and malachite and azurite beads. And a Worf meme...he's the best for them!

That soup sounds delish! Was it from a recipe or are you one of those people who can take ingredients and make something delicious on your own? That is NOT a skill I possess and I am jealous of people who can do it.

Loving your jewelry as usual--the color combo on this one is particularly stunning.

Side note, I had no idea that I didn't know how to spell "jewelry" until I started writing my Capstone about the luxury jewelry industry. I guess I pronounce it wrong because when I sound it out, it should be j-e-w-e-l-E-r-y , like jewl-er-ee, not jew-el-ry. I have 8 more days to practice typing this word 1000 times a day and I am curious to see if I can ever get it right on the first try. I am doubtful, haha.

Thank you very much!

I did create the soup from just ingredients. I just knew it'd have the green chilies and ground beef. It was just the right amount of spicy!

I'm not the best speller so I'm saved(or doomed in some cases) by autocorrect.

Oops. I forgot the QOTD. Almost every day, I forget. It's unintentional.

I never had an apartment. I've never rented a place to live, or a car. I was lucky enough to buy my first house when I was still 21, because everything was affordable back then. My interest rate was 17.25 percent though. It was an old house, almost 100 years old when I bought it, and the kitchen, bathroom and plumbing were all circa 1930. I only lived there for about 3 years, but kept ownership. My daughter eventually lived there for about 10 years. I sold it 2 or 3 years ago when she moved out.

It was only about 4 blocks from where I live now. I used to ride my lawnmower over to cut the lawn in summer. The neighborhood kids thought it was hysterical.
