What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was great! I worked my butt off on my paper and I would say it's about 90% written. It mostly needs a ton of editing and fixing citations, but it's in a great place to turn in in 8 days. We went to see Barbie in the afternoon and I loved it so hard! I think it was perfect.
Today is more of the same. I will put 5 or so hours in on the paper this morning and then work on cookies this afternoon. My niece is due with her first baby (and the first baby of this next generation) in a few weeks. She and her hubby are total self-described nerds so I decided to make a set of Harry Potter sorting cookies for the baby. I am hoping to get them finished today, drying tomorrow, and in the mail on Thursday.
QOTD: What was your first apartment like? I had moved out of a dorm-like situation to get my first apartment with my best friend when I was about 20. It was an old 1900 build with original wood floors and paneling. The kitchen was wild. I don't think it has been updated since the 1930s. There was a huge gas stove that we had to light every time we used it and a huge farm sink that was about 3' deep. I had to climb onto a chair to be able to reach down to the bottom. It was also located in a very college heavy neighborhood and there were parties and bongo drums banging 24/7. There was also a murder of a co-ed down the street that remained unsolved the whole time we lived there. My share of the rent was $450/month. We recently saw that those apartments are now renting for $5600/month!!!
Accountability: Ended the day around 700 - 800 cals depending on how much you believe the MFP calories for movie popcorn.

Good morning all.
Barbie is a sci fi movie, with a multiverse and interdimensional travel. Don't let anyone tell you different.
I didn't realize at first, but yesterday was my 11th surgiversary. I couldn't be happier with the surgery, and wish I had done it sooner, instead of putting it off.
Another oddity: I started on "solid" food two weeks after surgery. It was actually 2 weeks and 3 days. I recall being miffed that my 2 week follow up with the surgeon was 2 weeks and 3 days, so I had to stay on liquids 3 extra days. The things that seem huge in the short run and don't matter at all in the end, right?
Anyway, I started using MyFitnessPal to log food that day, September 7, 2012. So yesterday, 11 years after surgery, also marked 4,000 days on MFP. So kind of a fat guy double anniversary.
I'm down over 265 pounds from my highest weight. I can't even imagine trying to haul that around. Inconceivable. OH, and all of you, have helped more than I can say. Thanks to you all.

This guy right here... is amazing.
I have never met anyone else who is so committed to doing something right. I succumb to the "eff-it" attitude easily when things get hard and I can half-ass with the best of 'em. But Grim is so dedicated to doing everything with precision and dedication, and that has included his commitment to weight loss and being healthy.
I aspire to your greatness. XO

Wow, happy surgiversary.
May i say I'm more impressed with your MFP track? I've been tracking on it but here and there fell off so never reached your high number.
You look great and healthy.

Once in a while I panic if I think I've forgotten to login. But the MFP "day" begins and ends at 3 am. They must be on the west coast. I've been saved a few times by the time difference.

Some people would post really stupid stuff here. Grim you always had accurate information and advice. You and the queen have kept this board going and have helped More people than you realize. Thanks to both of you for all you do. And you look wonderful. Happy Surgiversary
