Good morning everybody!

We said goodbye to my boss last night. 25 years. I will still see him on Wednesday nights and we will still travel together as long as we all stay healthy. But we'll never work together again.

Marilyn's flight from Birmingham worked out and she was able to join before we sat down to dinner. Everyone is at school and hopefully, thriving.

We leave for the tennis tournament at about 5:00. I am supposed to work today.

I hope that Amy and Chrissy have amazing vacations.

QOTD: Remember the woman that claimed to be a Breathairian? Well not that.

Not sure about food today since we are flying right at dinner time.

Have a great weekend!

Good Morning all and Happy Friday, Saturday's goodie goodie step-child,

Great meme. I love when vegetarians say, 'I don't know how you eat Meat.' My response is always, "It's because ___________(insert meat being consumed) is Deeee-licious."

QJB - Have a great time with your mentor! I love the idea of a koi fish playing coy.

I was hoping to have a garage sale this weekend but I just don't have the time. I'll make another attempt next week, which is my only available date for a while.

QOTD- Paleo. I actually enjoyed eating that way, once I got used to it.

B:Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: Burger, asparagus.

D: Lemon Dill Salmon, green beans.

Have a fun and safe weekend.

Good morning. Uhm, I neeeeed the lemon cookies please.

I got a ton done yesterday. Rearranged the furniture in two rooms. Besides the fact that I like to switch things up, I love how moving things makes you vacuum and dust all the hidden nooks and crannies. Add the fact that Rog scrubbed out the kitchen and I'm feeling like the house is spotless and bright. Definitely adds to my happy levels. PT was a b&tch again yesterday. I'd prefer more massaging and rubbing and pulling, but no...they insist on making me sweat.

Today we have lunch at a wonderful place right on the water with old friends and dinner on our neighbors deck. Should be a perfect day. My exercise is done and the yard is put to rights. So the rest of the day is chill. Except not really chill because of the heat and humidity. Big tropical storm coming on Sunday. So we are expecting a lot of warm rain.

Accountability. I think I can confidently say I have dropped two pounds. The scale has been going up and down, but seems to have stabilized. I need/want to drop 2.5 more before October 1. However, the glass of wine I added to dinner and the cup of caramel corn I ate at 11 last night do not seem to mirror my goals. Choices, Lisa. Make good choices!

QoTD: Kill me now. The only way I'm doing any of those diets is if I have no other means of survival. Then I guess I would pick vegan. At least I like to play around with food, so I could try to make them taste like meat and cheese.

Bites today. Lots more maalox and PPI's

B: leftover pork al pastor, cottage cheese

L: not sure, but the restaurant is coastal mexican and I know I can make a good choice

D: app style, but I'm bringing a chicken pasta salad and sliced heirloom tomatoes. I can pick through the pasta for the chicken slices.

Picture is of me actually nailing it with my goals. Peace Everybody.

You are killing the fine line of respecting your body and working on the pain and also staying mobile and in the exercise habit! Those are good choices:-)

I Love the cookies. So adorable. In SC we have a few places that have great Barbeque. I really like brisket from a NC place. Now that we have found it, when we got to visit Keith's family in Hendersonville, I don't mind going as long as we going to stop by the barbeque place. If we are not stopping by there, I'm not going. If I have to be in a car for 1.5 hr each way, I better get some brisket.

QOTD: Paleo, but not Raw Paleo. Some meat I can eat raw, but most (chicken, pork,) and seafood (fish, shellfish) needs to be cooked. Plus veggies. I can eat some raw veggies, but not many.

Accountability: I ate too much food, and too many sweets. Including cheesecake and tiramisu. Plus, watermelon. I do plan to get back on my keto-paleo diet with some hard cheese added, but I'll start on Sunday or Monday. Until then, just whatever.

Keith is "under the weather" and we are not sure if it's cold or seasonal allergies. Just in case, I loaded him up with supplements and probiotics. I set it up for him and he no longer objects to taking as many and as often I suggest he takes. With his asthma, every time he gets congested with cold, he gets really miserable. Breathing is important to life.
