What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Good mornin everyone! QJB, hope it's just some minor drainage that's causing a sore throat! Those cookies are gorgeous...almost to pretty to eat!
Yesterday was a mixed bag. The lake was 95% great. The water was pretty chilly and I over did it. But the kicker. We go to this swimming hole on the other side of the dam from the lake. We were the only ones there until this black truck comes, parks beside us and uses the picnic table besides us. There were 10 others in the swimming part of the area. RIGHT BESIDE US! Totally had me annoyed. I had decided to just wear my swimsuit and no shirt so when they came that had me feeling self conscious about myself. Over all I think we will be visiting the activity center to see about the pool. It should be warmer than the swimming hole was. It's an indoor pool there.
We're going out thrifting with my aunt today and out to eat somewhere. No idea where. My hips are screaming and I've been up since 12:40ish(actually a sleep in for me lately). The lack of sleep stuff is really dragging me to the depths of hell. I haven't been able to catch nap either. Pain is just the same. I do think the CBD is taking the slightest of edges away and I think it will get better when I can afford the higher dose at the 1st of September!
QOTD: vegan. I love vegetables and could have more variety with that one. I like meat but could technically do without it, I like veggie burgers and some meat substitutions. I've actually done vegetarian before and dairy free. Some of the faux cheeses are not to bad now.
B: JUST egg bowl and coffee x2
The rest is unknown except dinner might be a wagu beef burger(yay for clearance meats!). I've never had wagu before.
pics are a couple of memes and one of Mona Lisa.

I love how it can be over 100 degrees for what feels like a month and deep water is still cold. Reminds me of Lake Ontario as a kid. Top two inches were warm and then you plunged through to the frigid depths! Sounds like there was some goodness in your day to hold onto. Glad for that.

Over all it was decent. More annoying than pain is always bad but sometimes I have to make friends with it to live with it. My grandpa had broken his neck twice and he always said that. Become friends with your pain. It's hard to do that though.
I am tired of the heat here. 104° so far today.

I am the same way, if there is all this room why does everyone cluster together in a small area. The same with a movie theater. Spread out people!

YES! I was so annoyed with it. There were 12 other tables spread out around the swimming hole. Just rude!

Good morning and happy FRI-YAY everyone!
Yesterday was a very long work day with very little movement and it annoyed me, I wanted a rest day but not a trapped in my chair for 10 hours day. I will get in my rowing before starting my day today; annual eye exam after work and a pretty low key weekend ahead of me.
QOTD - unless the single food is pizza, I pick none of those options.
menu today
coffee plus half and half X 3
yogurt
deli turkey breast with slice cheddar and pickles
RGF chicken strips

Your friend was delightful and so fun to talk to someone that's heading to Antarctica! I also pointed her to my favorite winery outside Santiago so I hope she enjoys that.
