I'm jealous of people who can determine every ingredient in a dish. I've seen it in Chefs and it's unbelievable to the extent where they can identify how much of an ingredient is in a dish. I.E. This basil chicken is a tablespoon short of oyster sauce.

Well funny you should ask...my computer is 90 days old. My last one is like 10 and probably won't even boot up - I've always just used my work laptops. When I quit my job a couple of months ago, I had to buy myself a personal one. I did a bunch of comparison shopping and got another MacBook Air from Costco!

A lost wallet would make me crazy. Especially since it's likely in your car or house. How annoying. Especially the license piece. Hopefully your motor vehicles offices let you make an appointment.

Im meeting a friend for a HOT hike this afternoon at Great Falls. I've super slacked on the exercise as of late so this will be a nice exertion. I'll be doing my advisory work this morning and putting some time into an interview project I have to present on Monday, as well. I'm working too hard for an unpaid person LOL!

B: leftover Dijon chicken

L: a boars head ever roast wrap on my way to the hike

d: maybe impossible meat in some dish or grilled halloumi and spinach. TBD

I hope you have another amazing day or organizing and cookie fun!

You and Julia should come over and I'll make you an impossible meat stir fry with snow peas and water chestnuts and gojujang sauce! Or I'll grill halloumi cheese and serve it with sumac spiced couscous and wilted spinach and garlic toum spread on the side! It will be delicious, I promise!

I am an eater, and I am with Grim on this one. I will never try any meat made in a laboratory. I like mine mooing, squealing or clucking.

a lot of the fake meat products aren't that meat that's now being made in a lab (the stuff they've come out with lately (now THAT sounds gross to me!)). The "meat" in things like Impossible Burgers and Beyond Burgers is made of stuff like soybeans, I believe. It's actually pretty good!

There will be a world where animals do not have to be slaughtered. The process of raising them, creating mountains of manure, filling the atmosphere with methane gases, lining them up for slaughter and draining their blood before cutting up their bodies will be a horrific memory.

The meat produced in the lab will be cleaner, protected from diseases, and taste better than what the world has used for millions of years. If what are now farm animals are raised they will be kept and treated as pets. Billions of dollars are being invested in the research. It will b a change in the world as important as the printing press or invention of computers.

I'm also with Grim on the Imposible meat. NOPE. A big NOPE.

On the other note: You quit your job? what happened?. Looks like I missed the memo. I thought you loved your job. Anyway, you are smart, dedicated and I'm sure you find something else if you want to. Good people are hard to find.
