Morning all! Well I've only been awake for 20 minutes but this is not shaping up to be the best day. I opened my MacBook Air and it has a big black block along the left side with lots of fuzzy lines. I just shut it down and now I am praying it's not all lost. I also lost my wallet about a week ago. I am 99% it's just misplaced and not stolen because no one has tried to use my cards, but I'm at the point where I need to start working on replacements for everything so ....UGH.

Other than that, all is good :) I got 2 out of 12 grades posted yesterday, which is not enough but at least it's something. And I had a nice day off. I took a stab at a big craft room clean out and I decorated some fun cookie sets with things I wanted to try that were not for an order :)

QOTD: How old is your computer? I still think of my MacBook Air as new but I think I got it in 2018. I guess that isn't new, huh? Darn it.

Accountability: On plan!

Gah, I don't have access to my MFP log in on this computer to post my actual menu/calories. But today's plan is mostly a repeat of the usual, except that we're taking Grim's daughter out for dinner (location TBD) so not sure what that will be.

B: Protein coffee (60 cals)

S: Babybel cheese (50 cals)

L: veggie burger (120 cals)

D: tbd

Good mornin everyone! Hope today will be a good one for us all.

We are heading to the lake today. Just my mom and me. We have to run to Walmart and get some sunblock as we accidentally left ours in my brothers stuff last time.

I tried Dunkin? Donuts pumpkin spice cold brew concentrate and holy crap it was nasty! I might as well of licked an ashtray. I like strong coffee but even watered down the taste was awful. It tasted nothing like the PS. My favorite is Stok but I am tryin Cusa pitcher packs tomorrow. I figured out the pricing and it?s cheaper than my stok habbit. I like the single serve a lot so I?m sure I?ll love it.

wanted to edit in this as I forgot. My "boss" is wanting me to make some of the pendants like I posted yesterday. I REALLY like them too. I did a dry run with copper as she is wanting some of those too in the large size. It is perfection to me. Really rigid and solid. I won't be able to do the smaller sized one in all copper but I found a perfect home for it. I have a friend who survived a major stroke and by the grace of god is thriving now. She wanted to buy it but I'm going to give it to her. She is one tough cookie and deserves a treat! As a side note I need alllll the beads.

QOTD: I got my lap top in may.

food is up in the air.

Thanks! It always makes me so happy to know I helped someone feel the same. It's simple for me, kindness always beats being rude to people. Simple thought of others is a good thing!

Good morning!

Yesterday I was able to walk over for part of the team event and learned that I'm in the 25% of super tasters, according to the little paper strip I licked. Apparently, if it tastes like chewing aspirin, you're a super taster. Yay? The other categories were normal and food lover. To a food lover, the strip just tastes like paper, which means they have fewer taste buds and potentially a wider tolerance range for foods.

Meetings today kicking off at 7am and ending at 4pm after a 5 solid hour meeting block. It will be busy.

Accountability- I had a feta, spinach, and tomato omelet instead of my boiled eggs and some of the fruit.

Menu is the same as yesterday. Cheers, everyone. Stay cool.

I had a friend (well, she's still alive - it's just that she moved to Massachusetts about 10 years ago) who was a super taster. She was part of a gourmet group we once had going. She could taste something that someone else had made and list most of the ingredients in it. It was amazing!

That is so cool. I would love to know if I was a super taster, normal, or a food lover. I wonder where these taste strips are purchased.
