Oh, I'd be angry about no grades for assignments yet! How do you know if you are meeting the instructors' expectations? Despite the syllabus, we all interpret what we hear and read differently and may not accurately put all the pieces together. Have fun with the low-pressure cookie making. BTW, great job on your eating. You are killing it.
My Greek cooking class was cancelled yesterday due to the chef having a family emergency. I rescheduled to a Japanese themed cooking class for September. Later this month, DD and I will do an Ethiopian themed cooking class. When I think of Ethiopia, all I can remember is the famine they had years ago (is it still occurring?) and the pictures of the poor children looking bloated and malnourished. So sad. When DD and I went to Montana last month I met a Catholic priest from Africa. He told me that Ethiopian cuisine uses a lot of tasty spices, probably the best spices for that region of Africa (West Coast). Instead of the cooking class, I went to yoga. I did take a break during the workday yesterday to lift weights. The first leg workout I have had since I strained my right inner thigh/hamstring. I kept it somewhat light and shorter than usual just to make sure I didn't reinjure it. I do notice that certain yoga postures cause that area to feel strained, so I have been very careful with those poses.
QOTD: That is a thinker. My first thought was Hunger Games, you know because I think I would kick ass but in reality, I would probably be dead in the first minutes (seconds) of the game since I don't have the skills of Katniss Everdeen. Hot Tub Time Machine or Back to the Future just to see what occurred during different time periods or what will happen in the future. Or how about Age of Adelene where you never age but gain life experiences? Although it would blow to lose those you love...So many choices.
Accountability: Pretty good, still with a couple of extra pieces of SF chocolate.
Meals are the same as always
