What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I've had a few no-shows for interviews too, it just seems crazy!

Kelly, during COVID we had catfished interviews where the person who took the job wasn't the person who interviewed online.

People are just plain crazy. I'm assuming you had to terminate them? I'm curious how you uncovered this?

It wasn't me personally, but we just found they were completely over their head at work and even if identified quickly it would take months to get rid of them.

It's a beautiful day despite being dreary here. I had a really good day yesterday but the highlight was an evening conversation. Last night, I realized that my conversation with others could be a beginning of a joke... A priest, a Jew, and a drug dealer are discussing the meaning of life... It's truly amazing that the gift of long term sobriety provides the ability to get to know people from all walks of life.

I started a class on depression. I've done similar things before when my mental health could use help that I'm not able to work through on my own.

QOTD- Nope to the fraternity. I, incorrectly, assumed fraternities were basically paying for friends.

B: coffee mixed w pp shake.

L: Brisket chili, 1/4 pc cornbread.

D: Rotisserie chicken, Asparagus.

Snack: Dried mango.

Yeah, for healthy pets, the one in the sink is funny to me. Only 3 weeks boy that flew right by.

I had to stop at the store this morning. Someone at work has decided that I am the Coffee creamer purchaser for them so every time I go to get creamer it is way lower than the last time, I picked it up. Yes, it ****** me off, but this is one of those pick your battle situations. I have a SF pumpkin spice in the fridge, but I just could not bring myself to crack it open before my beach vacation. I am holding on to summer as long as I can.

QOTD: For the 2 semesters I spent in college I was a House girl at Delta Tau Delta. Basically, slept on the couch because I was not a fan of my roommate.

Accountability: Yikes club cracker with butter and peanut butter. WHY????

L: stuffed zucchini boat, cucumber salad. snack selects.

D: burger and maybe grilled zucchini if there is any in the garden

Exercise: Dog walking. 30-minute elliptical (done)

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

I would find the creamer situation a little annoying too but I get your point. I just started getting flavorings that are sugar free for my coffees and use plain creamer. My favorite is funnel cake. It seems all the creamers I like best and non sugar free.

Your kitties look well behaved at the vet. My dogs are little monsters when taken to the vet. Too excited by the other animals.

A couple of meeting today and the usual paperwork at the office. Tonight, DD and I are taking a cooking class. Today's theme is Greek cooking. We will be making Greek salad and bright arbequina dressing, topped with fresh feta. Next is the delicious Pastitsio!!! It's layered with Bechamel, cheeses, beef. For dessert, a Greek custard pie. All new to me. I had to look up a few of the items since I didn't know what those were. I will try to work in a weight workout today but if not I will do it tomorrow. It all depends on the office flow and time.

QOTD: Nope.

Accountability: too much no added sugar chocolate.

We have a big Greek community in my area and was lucky to be able to go to Greek festivals all my life. Pastitsio was a fav of mine, but I prefer the Geek burgers called Keftedes. Too bad Pastitsio is a no no for me now. it is delicious.

I went to a great Greek festival on one of my Pittsburgh visits. I don't remember insignificant info like the name, the location, or the date. It was held in a giant, two huge pole tent right off the highway. I want to say it was east of the downtown area but my sense of direction in foreign cities is abysmal.
