I hear the studios are considering AI, which is part of the writers guild issues since AI uses previous intellectual property to generate content.

Sadly, Jaws has contributed to people's increased fear of sharks. So if there were shark movies before Jaws, they don't count. Some of the newer ones were laughably absurd, including the ones that ended in -nado.

Aw, I love the sharknado movies. I mean, not as great cinema or anything, but they are so fun. I dare you not to laugh hysterically at the absurdity of it all. Plus the D- celebrities they dig up are so fab!

Sometimes it's fun to watch movies that are so purposefully bad. I remember the one about the killer glaciers overtaking cities and people at a full on gallop. Ah, alternate realities!

Yep. Jaws made me scared to go in the ocean for many years. I still get hypervigilent in the ocean.

I don't get into water I can't see into, for the most part. I remember snorkeling in a bay on fitzroy Island years ago with limited visibility and puttering straight into an ocean sunfish as big as me. Startling. I also got to see for myself that trip how fast sharks are!
