I live with DH and can sympathize with your pain. We have great insurance for him. I pay over $900 a month for. We get the same results that you get. I really do not believe they even try to get to the bottom of the pain. Every time we need to change pain doctors, they run the same test and do the same things. I don't understand why they do not try anything else. It is so frustration. He tells them he has no back pain it is his leg. The pain runs down his leg, but they still look at his back. I pray for both of you daily.

The pain management field is ridiculous. They give a neighbor all the loritab she wants and is an alcoholic. My former aunt is a drug and alcohol user and they give her anything she asks for. It's frustrating, I've never been drunk in my life and had only tried MJ as a teenager. I feel like they gave up. There are no other pain management doctors or clinics here taking patients...one even said they don't take self pay which I don't buy. Pretty much from my mid back down hurts...I'm over it.

thank you very much, I do appreciate it very much :o)

Have he tried Kratom? I used teh powder i the past, but I start using more and more and got really dependent oin it. I had to get off. It took me a few months to slowly taper down.

I have been off that for app 2 years. But this year I got introduced to kratom extract. I tried some, and it surprised me. It actually wors for my nerv pain (pain in my leg). Since I start usig it, I really get pain free hours. I was able to cut my narco and muscle relaxants to 1/2 my daily dosage. And before that, the regiular daily dose was just lowering my pain, not really getting rid of the pain.

The coamny I use is https://herbapumps.com/. Their pump is very very concentrated. I use that maybe 1-2 x a day if I really start hurting. I use their GS golden standard, and i use less than 20 ml per day (in 4ml doses at a time). But sometime seven 1-2 ml is enough to help.

I rather not used anything, but not having the leg pain is huge thing.

Thinking of you, Mel. Hopefully working on your pieces gives you something to focus on for today to help get through it.

Good morning QJB and menuers,

It's always an interesting study to see how people have turned out differently. Kitties, too.

QOTD- In a perfect world I prefer to avoid all added sweeteners. Right now I'm supposed to avoid the -ol ones. I don't like artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols, so I guess yay for that? Also on board with the fact that there are unintended consequences for us creating products to replace other products. Remember Olestra?

I'm going back to sleep for a bit, I hope. Think I hit a trigger by eating too much volume-wise last night and I was in a ton of pain until about 1:30. Then the storm and dog combination woke me. I'll be working from home today once I get up again.

Menu is liquids and maybe protein pudding. Have a good day, everyone!

Over eating can be uncomfortable, restriction is the longest lasting benefit of WLS, in my opinion. I need to go back to being the weighing/measuring machine I was the first 3-4 years!
