Wow, those fishing rods sound like a lot of work but so fun to put together. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. Are these fly rods or traditional type of fishing rods. What about the reel and other pieces?

Your birthday pictures are great but it's a shame you cut off your head and beautiful smile! You know, really you can celebrate the last year of a decade all year long, not just two days. Are those the infamous shorts? Enjoy your breakfast and dinner outings!

QOTD - a greek yogurt parfait in Tasmania; everything at dinner at a restaurant in Athens; cinnamon toast English muffins with my grandma; pizza from the place down the street from my grandparents; my sister's biscuits and gravy, a watermelon-feta salad in Krakow with this incredible lime-basil marinade. I have had success in recreating many of these but the original memory is still better:-). Clearly I will never make it to the "food is just fuel" stage, lol.

My trainer had to reschedule yesterday but even though I had done my rowing and pilates before work, I still wanted an afternoon workout. I was thinking to myself "a few days ago I said I wanted to get out and ride my bike (I later realized that by a few days ago, I really meant yesterday)" so I did a 40 minute bike ride on a couple of paths around here. Not catwoman distance but 4.5 miles for the first time on a bike since summer 21, I enjoyed it.

I will get in some rowing today as well, plus my reschedule trainer, otherwise just a busy work day.

menu today

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Jen you have been everywhere, done everything, and tasted everything. Now I want a greek yogurt parfait - but mine will come from Chick-fil-A or a deli.

Ah, Athens! I'm in conversations to start planning a trip to either Italy or Greece. Personally, I'm leaning towards Greece since I did get to spend time in Italy. They like me to do all the trip planning, and I'm looking forward to it right now. I'm with you, Jen...food is an experience and part of the cultural experience, though I wish I could see it as fuel.

Good morning ~ Those tacos look amazing - what a sweet thing to do!! You have some pretty cool friends. I hope you have a wonderful re-do B-day. I am killin' it right now - work is going pretty well. I even had time to take care of some over due personal business and did yoga when I got home. No guilty weights at the gym though but I will try again for today. I'm on day 4 in a row of daily activity, low key but it's something. Way leads to way.

QOTD - The Oysters Rockefeller at a restaurant in Cambria. I have been chasing that dragon ever since and no one else compares. Thai Chili cauliflower in Santa Barbara - so damn good!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
