What's on your Thursday Menu?
That story about the 86 year woman is actually hilarious in some ways. I think I would prefer jail to a nursing home, not that I plan to kill anyone. You work hard and do a lot for others, I am sure that they are going to let you in heaven. The zucchini breads sound wonderful.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
QOTD- Dealing with my mothers computer issues without totally losing it should get me some points. How can she forget it every time... She used to work at Tektronix doing QA, so not sure why she struggles so much.
Another beautiful day in the PNW, sunny and clear high of 88 low of 56.
I have a mani-pedi this afternoon, so I'm looking forward to that. The cat door is not in, but I did get the extender tunnel. The thermostat is also not in, hoping to have it in soon. My roommate has been delivering from Wilsonville to either Tacoma, Renton, Bellevue or Bremerton depending on the load and then returning. Really long days and he hits the max hours so has to be off for 10 hours. So if he's late it means he can't clock in the next day until late and it just keeps getting worse...Traffic in the Seattle Metro area is really awful. After having to spend a couple of nights in a motel he's finally starting carrying extra clothes in his truck. I would hate his job, when I was much younger I did long haul trucking and I only lasted 6 months. It was bad...I hated living in a truck and not having a home.
I need to get myself in gear and get some work done.
Hang in there it's almost Fri-yay!

Enjoy your mani/pedi and beautiful day! I've debated being a truck driver but the thought never sticks. Maybe one of those...home every night ones.

Ha, my dad used to work in the IT department at MIT and now he can't figure out how to answer his cell phone. I hope it will be easier for us to keep up with technology since we had it for most of our lives.
