What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good Morning! Friday-Eve with Friyay on the horizon. Whoo-hoo on getting the last of your papers turned in for the week. The interview went well yesterday so now I'm trying to reach out to some references and get some feedback. I did have the other two on the team meet with her briefly just to see how the interaction was and they liked her so I'm hopeful.
QOTD: I think it might sound corny but I feel I just genuinely try and be a decent human. Just be there when someone needs something, help when I can/am able to do so. Yeah, I get frustrated with situations but I feel it stems from caring. I'm not sure if it really even makes sense.

Good morning all and Happy Fri-yay Jr.,
Yesterday was quite a day. I agree that this has been both a long week and a short week. I'm exhausted on all fronts. Must. Keep. Pushing.
I picked up my brother and his family's luggage from Midway Airport yesterday. I was in the car for a 3 hours+ car ride for what should be a normal 40 minute round trip.
Little children should not fall asleep on plane rides if they know they are seeing Uncle Matt. They're being pretty selfish, if you ask me, and it's a bad look for the toddler! The baby gets a pass.
QOTD- Ooohhhh - existence of heaven & hell - pretty heavy subject... I would hope that consistently helping fellow man and living righteously will get me into the orchestra pit. If I had to choose, a couple premium examples that come to mind would be helping others who wanted to get to the afterlife when it wasn't their time and helping a family navigate the process of coming to this country and becoming citizens.
Accountability- I'm eating my feelings late night. Last night was two ice cream sandwiches. I may to have to ban all non-meal food from the house. A treat every now and then in moderation has turned into an everyday occurrence. Honestly, I'm giving myself permission since there's a lot of other stuff going on in my life.
B: Nothing. Have to squeeze protein in somewhere.
L: 1/2 bagel and lox.
D: Dinner with our whole family. It sounds like hot dogs is my brother's choice.

I'm giving myself permission since there's a lot of other stuff going on in my life. This will not help you in the long run. I been struggling too. A wise person said Substitute. If you know you are snacking keep the right snackes in the house. Good luck my friend we all been there you just need to find your balance.

Thank you. Last night, I grabbed a bag of roasted veggies and a strong cheese at 10pm to munch on. Progress not perfection.

Hope you're okay, Matt. It sounds like you do a lot for others, which is great so long as your cup isn't empty!
