Good morning everybody!
QJB, I'm sure you remember, but two Babybells had been quite a source of controversy around here over the years.
We were so happy for about 93 minutes yesterday.
Marilyn used to work for an insurance company (the same one as Liz). So, traditionally, we have got all of our insurance through that company. Well, this year Marilyn got a note that they would not insure my son's car because Marilyn got a speeding ticket driving through Iowa to take him to college.
So Marilyn decided that if we had to shop part of our insurance, we were going to shop all of it. Yesterday, we had a call with a different agency about homeowners insurance. I'm embarrassed to admit how much we are overpaying our homeowners by. I guess we lost sight of it and they just started in increasing our bill by $1,000 a year.
So we found out that not only are we going to be paying 20 percent of the old cost for the same coverage, but we prepaid for the year and are getting 6 months rebated.
We spent from 10:00 to 11:33 thinking of fun things that we could do with our rebate. Until the Colorado School of Mines fall bill came and sucked up 75 percent with surprise (to us) increases. Easy come easy go, I guess.
QOTD: If my CASA Board service doesn't cut it, letting people merge into my lane so that they can turn is my backup.

Have a great day, all!

I remember being so mad when my husband passed away and they raised my auto insurance because rates are higher for single drivers. I do pay attention to those rates going up every year. I tried shopping around and found I would get great rates, but then they would increase the next year and not worth the hassle of always looking around for a better rate.

One of my friends is up in Madison volunteering at the CrossFit Games this week. I think he is changing signs. Some of the volunteers stay in the dorms.
