I've been buying those for awhile - they're not H&H, but they're not bad - typical grocery store-type bagels, only much thinner. They have plain and everything (I usually get the latter)

Yes, and quick. Well worth a weekend treat.

I am clearly under using my air fryer. I'm going to have to get more adventurous with it

My Samsung smart oven has an air fryer function but boy, I haven't figured out the conversions. The cooking times are a lot longer than countertop air fryers, apparently. More trial and error but I aspire to perfectly air fried oven food...someday.

Probably the difference in size? I found this when I googled Samsung built in air fryer conversion times. Clearly the built in one is about the crunch not the time savings.

Ooh, thanks for sharing! I'd been picking my brain when a recipe says to air fry for 8-10 minutes and my oven takes at least twice that. Other than mushrooms, don't think I make that quantity. This is a good baseline.

Nice, that sounds tasty! Must be a silly question...but don't bagels have holes? I smashed down the middle of the muffins to make room for eggs and cheese.

Yes but I put it on parchment sprayed with olive oil and the hole just holds the egg so it does not roll off the side.

Happy monday!!! I hope everyone is ready for the week and I hope this week is shorter than last week, lol.

QJB - congratulations on the safely in and out of the fudge shop. For me, fudge is one of the things that smells so much better than it actually tastes. I bought some when I had friends in town last august and I ended up throwing it away when it was still in the fridge at christmas. I know some people say the same about coffee...they love the smell but don't drink it.

I had a good, low key weekend. The roofers were here until late on Friday but didn't have to come back on Saturday, I had to run one errand on Saturday but otherwise just hung out at home on the deck and read, slept until 6 am both mornings. I didn't get caught up on any of my backlog of tv shows I want to watch because my books were so good. I finished one and about 1/3 of way through the other.

QOTD - talk with friends, get some exercise, take a nap, go for a walk, read a comfort book, go for a drive with the music cranked up, talk to my sister, give myself a good shake, it all depends on what is bringing me down so there are different ways to address it!

Headed to the office this morning for my final July office day, not a lot of meetings which is nice as I do have some actual work to get done. Then home for some rowing and pleasure reading.

Menu today will be all the soft high protein things. I ate a very delicious chicken breast kabob yesterday but ate it way to fast and didn't chew enough so giving my system a break today. Coffee plus half and half x3, greek yogurt, cottage cheese with cinnamon, egg omelette.

Speaking of yogurt, I saw Pumpkin Spice Chobani on the shelf at target on Saturday morning. July seems a bit early for it, lol.

Have a fantastic Monday and start to the week everyone.
