What's on your Monday Menu?

I'm assuming your warmth is not in the triple digits! Shade hopping is a thing here. And wearing a big hat while walking to my car at work.

G'morning all!
QJB - walked into a fudge shop and walked out without buying anything? No way! I admire your will power because there is no way I could have done it. See? I would have gladly skipped the lobster roll and indulged in fudge. I am always willing to skip food for dessert.
Today is our last full day at home. Leaving tomorrow morning on a 5:00 am flight which means we gotta be at the airport at 3:00...ugh! I had a nice coffee date with friends on Sat to get my batteries recharged. After that it was all packing for the tenting. Jeez louis, if I had known getting ready for tenting was this complicated I would have let the termites eat the whole house. Just in our pantry we had 17 bags. The bags are as big as trash bags and they need to be double layered. We still have at least another 3-4 hours today to bag stuff in the bathrooms. This whole thing right before leaving for a trip might not have been the brightest idea.
QOTD: hanging out with friends, going for a jog in the forest, getting an unsolicited call or text from my kids, and coffee. Coffee is always the answer for everything.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Caldosa (crab ceviche with quest chips)
- Home made froyo, keto bomb, nectarine
- TJ kebabs
- E: weights x 2
Happy start of the week! I might not be able to post on this trip depending on wifi availability.

Have a wonderful trip! I stumbled across an Italian eating rules article yesterday and thought of you. Got to read about the abomination of Americans dipping bread in olive oil and balsamic. The horror! Good as it is, I do understand. :)

Good morning!
We had a lovely weekend. Dinner with friends on Friday, saw the show TINA! and had dinner at my favorite joint on Saturday and spent Sunday grocery shopping in preparation for the grands to arrive last night in time for dinner. I have not spent that much money on groceries in a looooooong time. But we have them until Friday evening and it's going to require a lot of fuel to get us all through week. My youngest starts horse camp this morning, and though it's already in the seventies and humid, she's running around in jeans, cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, a t shirt and a flannel shirt. Looking the part for sure.
Today is all about managing the kids schedule with horse camp and gymnastics and finding a workout for me. I had to cancel my HIIT class because we couldn't make the math work with driving her to camp. Bummed about that. Now the oldest will be drug along to some sort of walk/workout. But she's a great sport.
QoTD: Being with my kids, but that's not always doable. A great walk with music in my ear usually does the trick for me.
Bites today look like
B: left over pollo asada and grilled veggies with a bit of Queso Fresco cheese
L: third and last meal from my favorite joint Saturday. 1/2 insides of a street taco and 4-5 chicharrons
D: Fettuccine Alfredo from Costco and a salad. I might have a couple pieces of pasta, but not much.
Peace everybody!
