We did! There was a bit of extra traffic but I expected that going in, so we just use the time in the car to chat chat.

Fun! Is the water warm enough to swim?

We didn't swim, just let the water touch our feet as we walked along the waters edge.

Good morning all and Happy Wednesday,

I'm having a hard time right now. All life stuff is overwhelming and I'm not handling it well. I'm doing the best I can though.

I have a jam packed day today. My highlight will be that I'm going to try for Chappelle tickets at 10. I have some not so fun stuff to do, as well. I'll probably get the bare minimum done and go back to bed.

QOTD- Home Depot shirt, wore a suit for years, and I'm glad my uniform is a tee shirt and shorts now.

Good luck on tickets. Hopefully that can be a bright spot in your day, and it can get better from there.

Hang in there when life throws a curve ball take some calming breaths and focus on what you can control, not what you can't. I hope things settle down for you. Do you have a sponsor you can get support?

QOTD- Only when I was in the Marine Corps. I guess 3 years of uniforms for Catholic school don't count..

I've been MIA, Monday was nausea and more nausea. Yesterday was work, and help my coworker which took time away from what I should be doing. Still hate the new software program.

I finally got my espresso machine, what a difference it tastes so much better, so I had 2 mochas yesterday! I have a hair appointment today but that is all for this week.

My cat door diary- bought the cat door that is supposed to recognize the microchips in my cats. In order to set it up you need to put the cats head in the door to program it. Well 3 thoroughly pissed off cats and the door never worked. So I have a hole in my wall and a cat door that will not recognize my cats. Also it was past the return date for Amazon, and it said nothing on the website about what chips it recognizes. So I found out there are multiple microchips, some with 9, 10, 12 or 15 digits. This door only recognizes the 15 digit chips. My cats have 9 digit chips in them. Fortunately Amazon is going to let me return it, I ordered a new one and it immediately recognized my cats chips, but of course it cost about 50% more than the other one. I'm not sure if the cats will use it since they were so traumatized by me sticking their heads in the other cat door trying to program it. I still need to cut the exterior hole, it is aluminum siding so I don't think I have the right tool to cut it. So I'm procrastinating... I don't want to make a mess of it.

I need to get back to work.

Have a great day everyone!

I can picture the cat door saga and do not envy you going through that process. Glad Amazon worked with you to get one that will read chips.
