What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I know this isn't funny and I shouldn't laugh but picturing 3 pissed off cats that kept putting their heads near a door that wouldn't open made me laugh. I picture them pacing around all grumpy "look at what mom makes us do just to go outside!"

I was fascinated by the cat-chip-door story. Thanks for sharing it. It was interesting, educational, and a little funny. I'm glad it all worked out in the end.

Why can't you hold the chip in your hand and stick it through the door when programming it? That seems like it would be more efficient and less traumatizing to the cats (and you).

I think the cats were already chipped so cutting them out might be even more of a challenge!

Good morning!
Another toasty day in San Diego and the humidity has arrived. I know our humidity is NOTHING like you east coasters, but So. Cal people are especially whiney about humidity and I am one of them.
I had a very successful food day yesterday after my big work out and drank only water and Gatorade light. Scale is up again this morning. I know I should step away from the scale for a while. But it's like it is hardwired in my brain that I can't start the day without it. Last night I stepped on a dog chew bone and while reacting to that, I spun around and smacked my ankle into my foot stool. Now I have a lovely bruise and big lump and a restless night to show for it. I got up around 4 am and put an ice pack on it and that helped a little. Brown dog is like a toddler and pulls out every toy and bone he has everyday and leaves them scattered. I'm constantly picking things up and returning them to the basket. Unlike a toddler, he can't be taught to put his toys away before bedtime. Even with the clean up song.
Today should be a walk and yoga. But I'm passing on the walk to give my ankle a break and driving to yoga. I also need to go pick up some meds and I have PT for my knee this afternoon. And then this evening we are walking into our little village and having dinner then jumping on the trolley and going to the Bryan Adams/Joan Jett concert. Should be a blast.
QoTD: I worked food service at SeaWorld. So I got to smell like fried food and Hawaiian Punch and soft serve everyday. And also be treated like crap by people who were vacationing and felt like their Hawaiian Punch Soft serve floats should not require a line. I could pull a mean Soft serve ice cream.
Today's bites
B: last of the grilled veggies and shaved beef
L: I pulled out leftover frozen veggie lasagna made with cauliflower thins instead of pasta from the freezer last night. It should last me two days
D: TBD and I'll probably have a glass of wine at the concert.
Peace Everybody!

Sorry about your incident. I can sympathize because Luna also takes her toys out and doesn't put them back. I feel like I have a toddler at home that I need to pick up after, before we go to bed. The clean up song brings back so many memories but not effective on Luna either.
