What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Meneuers,
Sounds like you have a nice day in front of you. Safe travels.
So, remember a year ago me freaking out about the new system they implemented at work. Yeah, owner paid millions of dollars to have someone build something that would fit all our needs. We still cannot credit our customers on the accounting side of things and about 10 million other things the system will not do and now it has been shut down for the last 2 days and you cannot print from it. YEAH. not sure when it will be fixed, and I am just sitting here wasting time. May run to Walmart and Aldi to grab some things I need.
QOTD: Food prep. Not just for humans but the dog. I feed him only chicken and vegies and I have to clean all the chicken off the bones. Takes a good half hour or more and last only about a week.
Accountability: Too many carbs as I breaded zucchini in panko then wrapped prosciutto and provolone in it making rosettes and then baked it in the oven.
TSS: 5 years 7-month 14-days 160. Lowest (129.4)
B: Coffee with SF Coffee mate Twix creamer
MS: oikos triple zero salted caramel Greek Yogurt and berries
CB: Coffee with SF Twix creamer
L: chicken thigh, snack select.
D: hams the plan
Exercise: Dog walking. woke up to a thunderstorm so I did not run.
Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.
Have a great day my friends.
Brightest Blessings,
Chrissy
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
I make my dogs bone broth from rotisserie chicken when I buy it for my salads. It takes a long time to go through the broth (using a fine strainer) to pick out all the bones after it has steeped in the crockpot for long hours. The dogs love it and it is a treat for them.

G'morning all!
QJB - Hope your day is full of fun family gatherings.
I am chugging along with work trying to close as many loops as I can before I leave. It happens every time, I plan to go away, I tell all the people I work with, I keep reminding them, then when it comes down to the last week everybody acts like they had no idea I'm gonna be gone.
I finally took the leap and scheduled an appt with the ortho Dr for my shoulder. Obviously physical therapy didn't work, and me just waiting around for some miracle is not gonna help. I just gotta see if the surgery and inactivity is worth it. I hear from some people who were immobile for about 6 months while others who were back at the gym in less than 2 months. I guess it depends on type of injury and type of surgery.
QOTD: IG, FB, tiktok, online shopping, research, practically anything online. Yesterday I went down the rabbit hole with Oppenheimer and his beef with Edward Teller

- Scrambled eggs w/feta cheese
- Cucumber and tomatoes, cottage cheese icecream

I think your mindset also impacts that recovery! Good luck with getting it all sorted and becoming closer to pain free!

Good morning!
I had another successful day yesterday with exercise and staying under my desired calorie number. I spent an hour slicing and dicing fresh veggies to put together a bid salad for dinner. I have to keep using up these fresh veggies. It's really spurring me on to figure out a menu that allows that.
I'm home from my exercise. Walked up to the top of my local mountain. I'm trying to do this weekly. It sounds like a big deal. but I don't want to overstate it. It's not like starting at the very bottom of the mountain (though a neighbor of mine starts on our street and runs the whole way and back, probably 15 miles or more). You park 2/3rds up and walk in circles that are taking you up to the memorial and amphitheater. Today's walk was 2.09 miles, and that included 6 sets of doing the amphitheater stairs ( my watch gave me credit for 32 flights), 150 squats in between rounds of stairs and 524 feet of elevation. And I may stay on the couch the rest of the day.
QoTD: Reading the comments of NYT articles.
