What's on your Monday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
I always complain that I do not have a window in my office. That is another way to look at the situation. So maybe it doesn't suck as much as I thought.
Had a nice weekend. I did dive off the diving board this weekend and did not die. Not bad for an old lady. Tonight I will be getting my hair done and realizing vacation is less than a month away. I need to get some things cooked and put in the freezer, so I don't have to do too much cooking while I am there.
QOTD: Nope never even looked into it. But the resume writing had left me intrigued. My resume is 27 years old.

I wouldn't dare use the diving board. I'm convinced that sucker would snap like a twig.

G'morning all!
Another Mon morning and here we are. Wow time flies, this is our full last week, and then we are off for our family vacation.
Yesterday was the last day of my 6 weeks program. I can announce that I am the queen of maintenance; not an oz up or down on the scale. But, I lost 11" all around, so according to the coach I should not be walking around stomping my feet. I decided to continue with her on a monthly basis.
We succumbed on Sat and did the Barbenheimmer; 5 hours in the movies and I didn't touch a kernel of popcorn. Barbie was cute and actually had strong feminist messages that I appreciated, so it wasn't all cutesy. Oppenheimer I wi**** was shorter (3 hours) but I understand how they were trying to show all the back room politics and backstabbing. It was a good juxtaposition to Barbie and her feminist message against male ego even when it comes to the H bomb and who takes credit for what.
QOTD: I used it for our upcoming trip to get the highlights. It was DCgirl's suggestion and it was so helpful.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Rolled oats
- Birria burger (no buns) with sweet potatoes
- 1/3 of Seven layer chocolate cake slice, 1/3 choc mousse
- E: 5.5 miles hike
Happy Monday!

I could not spend 5 hours at the movies without popcorn. Not unless I was trussed up like Hanibal Lecter.
I have a measuring question, if I may. I see people talked about losing x number of total inches, and clearly they are talking about reduced measurement taken from several places. Is there some standardized list of measurements that folks agree on? And if so, what are they? It's always confused me.
Regardless, losing more inches are a great accomplishment. You've certainly worked hard enough.

Good point. On this program they had us measure the following on the first day, and actually in a specific area; for example 2 inches above belly button for waist and two inches below belly button for hips, middle distance between shoulder and elbow for arm. And then 6 weeks afterward measuring the same places. It's not exact because there is no way I can measure exactly where I measured last time but it's a good guesstimate.
