What's on your Monday Menu?
I read an article not too long ago about "zombie websites" -- websites that won't die. Ask Jeeves is still out there, apparently, and there are still something like 10 million people printing directions off MapQuest. There are a whole bunch of those sites that just won't die.

Good mornin everyone!
Not much going on today. I have an appointment with a doctor at 1:50 but other than that not much is going on. That's a good thing because I'm not feeling great. My incision is really bothering me. The staples needed to come out last week but they will come out Thursday of this week. Very sensitive to the touch and my pants always seem to sit on it. Ugh, the joys of being long waisted.
It's supposed to be 105° for the next three days. My mom's birthday is tomorrow so I'm very glad we did the dinner yesterday. The food was great but of course the kids didn't like anything. This may sound harsh but they like crappy food. I had some leftover chicken that didn't have any sauce...they slathered it in ranch dressing. I'm just so thankful I like flavor and will try just about anything. They liked the pies though. LOL
QOTD: I haven't used it. I have used AI for profile pics and messing around. I'm very uneasy about AI anything. I think it could be beneficial in some cases. Like the medical arena. Sometimes it can suggest things that a doctor might miss in way of treatments and different issues. BUT I do agree with Jen for most of it. For me it's a little scary that people might depend on it to much. Reminds me of the matrix.
food is entirely unplanned. The food yesterday was great but made me sicker than a dog. I'll prob make my mom some rice pudding with the leftover rice. There is one slice of lemon pie left for my mom and more coconut pie.
B: two shrimp roles and a yogurt

I've never had staples, thankfully, but aren't they harder to get out the longer you leave them in? I remember them re-stapling your incision when they put the pump in. Seems like additional, unnecessary pain and suffering to make you wait.
Glad you got everything done yesterday! You're an angel for what you're doing for your mom.

I am totally beat from yesterday. It sure whooped my butt.
It was worth it though, she liked it all so it was worth it!

Good morning all. Anyone up for a trip to the lumberyard today? I know, it's exciting, right?
QOTD: I haven't done anything with AI technologies, and don't plan on it. I hope I never see widespread use of AI for writing, teaching, or anything else. I think self driving cars are going to kill a lot of people. And price the poor out of owning vehicles at all.
Human beings have been doing all of these things for themselves, And I don't see the need for them. Hang out on my lawn if you want, but keep your robot away.

Good morning ~ OMG, that meme - took me a minute! Enjoy a well deserved beach day. Now that the fog is clearing here, I want to take the dogs next weekend for some off leash fun in the sun. I had a lovely weekend - nice mix of exercise (yes!), house stuff, prepping and relaxation. This week will be another busy one, many meeting, to do's and a few appts also.
QOTD - Nope, in fact I had to google it.
What I'm eating today:
Have a great Monday!!
