I love your "getting back on with it" attitude. We all have days of bad choices but you're not letting it turn into weeks! I hope today is a better day for you!!

ohhhh boy, posting late, but it's been a productive morning. The wine club thing Rog drug me to last night turned out to be a basically lovely evening meeting a nice group of new to me people and having tiny sips of wine. Roger and I both decided that Austin Hope wines are not for us, but the group and set up was nice and we may return (if the same ladies are in, that made it much more comfortable for me.****pt my word and only had a few sips of wine and was super comfortable being the designated driver getting us back home. I had a big day of exercise under my belt and a well planned and executed menu. I ended the day at 1200 calories, but had an additional 375 burned by exercise calories so I feel like that should have kept me under my number. But still, I gained weight again. On the good side, that made me mad enough that I quit looking for excuses to get in my stair routine this morning and just went and got it done. On the bad side...WTH?
Today we are loading the rig and going to spend the long weekend in Temecula. It's freaking HOT up there and I am doing very little in the food department. We are going to wing it as it goes since Friday is planned out for the trip/show and Saturday our friends want to meet for lunch, dinner or wineries. Hoping no on the wineries. It's just too hot. I'm taking workout clothes, but not making any real promises. I think I'd need to be out before 6 am to not roast to death.
QoTD: My beloved little company I worked at for 40 years is getting a new software business program next weekend. I've been minimally involved in helping to guide them. Last week I was telling them that before the current system was installed we did everything by writing it out. Making copies, filing, sorting, faxing, pulling a new folder every day to follow up and then return them to the pile based on the next needed follow up. They were like WHAT? What if it was a 100 lines? I was saying I used to take my orders home from work and after homework with the kids, dinner, baths, getting them to bed I would sit at the dining room table and spend a couple hours writing orders so that I could write purchase orders in the morning. They were like "that's crazy talk!!"
menu today
B: cottage cheese, hb egg and piece of bacon. It's in my belly already
L: no idea. I'm going to forage in the freezer
D: also, no idea. I'll try to find a good pick.
Exercise update because I'm proud I'm pulling that number down. Stairs 21 minutes, 15 seconds, zero stopping. Plus a 20 minute power walk to push me over my 30 minute per day goal. Done.
Peace Everybody!

Lisa, you have been upping your workout each day, your muscles are probably holding on to fluid while they recover/grow.

Thanks Jen. I've been creeping ever closer to my "swore I would never go above" weight since we got back from the trip and doing all the right things. I need to adjust my attitude. I'm feeling strong and fit. But I hate this number. 4 months on the road and I'm great. 3 weeks home and I'm falling apart.
