I'm not wild about it either. Some facts are just out to get us.

I read about that, too - I think it's in Thalland. Wow - I can't imagine what my system would feel like after eating that thing. Disgusting!! (esp since it's American cheese!)

Happy Thursday! We cleaned out some kitchen cabinets yesterday. I rarely look in the dark recesses of the down low cabinets. I don't like low. There was so much crap! We played the game of "That's mine" and "That's not mine." How can half the crap not belong to either one of us? Who's been sneaking crap into our kitchen?

QOTD: I have no idea, but I'm sure I do "Back in the day" stuff all the time. It really is remarkable how much has changed. No computers or internet, no microwaves, no cable TV. 4 channels, black and white. Libraries and books!

Back in my day, if you wanted to talk to a friend on the phone, you called their house and talked to one of their parents first, and had to explain why you wanted to speak with them.

I am still a big user of the library. Libraries are awesome.

And if you wanted privacy on the phone, you had to take the phone and its long-ass cord into the closet, lol. And woe to the poor unsuspecting person that called the house before or after the "correct" hours, lol

Most of my library borrowing is now digital. I'm not sure of gone inside since pre-pandemic. It was a very long time before we were allowed.

I think ours reopened as normal summer of 22 but they kept curbside pickup which I imagine is awesome for older people and people with little kids.

Air conditioning was not a car option and time was told by where the sun was in the sky and when the streetlights came on you should be heading home. Can't we go on and on. OK back to closet cleaning. My friend is a hoarder and has so much canned food in her basement. At her Christmas party last year, we all put in $5. You had 3 minutes to run in the basement and find the can with the furthest out expiration date. The winner got the money. I was not a winner, but the cans year date started with a 19.
