I've got that book! My mother gave it to me. Hers was a wedding gift she got back in the 50s, so some of the recipes are...interesting. Fun to look at, though!

Good morning everybody!

First off, we had the big boss in yesterday, so I had to wear shoes. After 18 months of bare feet and two years of sneakers, they were so uncomfortable. So narrow at the top. Plus no jeans.

Second, what night is Price is Right prime time on? I haven't been able to find it this week.

Then power went out at CrossFit last night. 2 sets of:

3 Rounds

8 calorie Assault bike

9 Deadlift 155

6 over the bar burpees

with a 3 minute rest in the middle.

So, I do my first 3 rounds in 6:14, take my 3 minute break and I'm working through the second set when it happened. Burpee, stand, jump over the barbell, look up. And, bang, nothing! What the?

All of the screens, monitors and clocks were blank. I finished the last 5 Burpees but will never know my score.

Today, I'm wearing flip flops and working from home. Resting my toes. Other than that, CrossFit, Happy Hour tonight and her are looking at cars for my youngest. One of my goals is not to have to go to the actual closing because it takes forever.

QOTD: I'm not much help here. Generally, I would just Google what I was interested in having. Or go out.

Breakfast: Marilyn may want to go out

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Chicken
