Gooooood Morning! Oh boy, I think I missed a lot yesterday! So many posts I never got to see. I was up to my elbows in frosting all day (not actually as fun as it sounds) and I didn't get back to read. I have a few more days of madness and then I think I can go back to "normal busy" instead of "crazy busy."

QOTD: When is the last time you were stung by a bee? I think it was two summers ago, sitting outside in the yard. I am always surprised that it hurts as much as it does, and then I feel badly for all the times I told my students to suck it up, lol.

Accountability: I was sooo hungry yesterday. But let the record show that I ate two soy nuggets to appease my hunger at 7pm instead of the entire loaf of bread that I was craving. I actually ended the day at 443 calories #winning

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was the 137th time since I've known JB that we swore we were going to buy a ticket for a billion dollar lottery drawing, but then never did. Easy come, easy go.

It's new ham day! If I can get into the kitchen. There's a crazy lady out there with frosting up to her elbows.

QOTD: The last time I was bitten by a bee was yesterday, thanks for asking. Several of them. I accidentally found a nest while trimming the shrubberies, and they were quite unhappy. My first thought was napalm, or a small nuclear device, but I settled for a can of yellowjacket killer.

I don't know if they named the TV show after them on purpose, but apparently yelliwjackets are the biggest ******** of the bee world.

I read through your graphic going yep, yep, yep. Should add to bumblebees that they like to play with dogs, apparently. Mine will try to catch the spicy sky raisins. I have a distinct feeling they will regret the day it happens.

Sorry they got you yesterday! They're the bane of yard work.

One of my beagles was allergic to bee stings and would swell pretty badly when stung.

Good morning QJB and menuers,

After having made homemade frosting for the first time the other week, I bet you have a cabinet full of powdered sugar for days like yesterday. I can't imagine the smell that must permeate the house during that time!

QOTD- I can't remember. I run from them because all my direct family has anaphylaxis when stung that they've developed and I don't want to find out about it. I remember being stung by sweat bees as a kid and that hurt!

I got an appointment with the APRN today with my PCP to make sure I'm on the record after my incident Friday . Also left another voice-mail for the GI clinic that they haven't returned. I'll be the squeaky wheel here and talk to the front desk today.

It's also the day I'll go and get an estimate on my car at the body shop I was recommended. I hope. This is my only work from home day this week and it's a busy one.

Accountability- Peanut butter from the jar.

Exercise- Recumbent bike. Body weight routine.

Menu - Part of a banana, slice of Mestemacher bread with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado, really the last of the delicious chicken on Dave's killer bread, more pork loin with mushroom gravy. Fruits include rambutan and cherries. Seaweed.

Cheers!
