G'morning all!
Last semester, yay! It went by so fast, says the one who didn't study for it.
I'm trying not to take it personally (jk), but two dates got cancelled on me this week. One hike with my trainer and one coffee date with a friend. Not complaining, just gave me more time to do my workout routines without trying to squeeze the second session at 7:30 pm. I asked my coach on this new program, after the initial 6 weeks, if I should keep up with two workouts a day and she was horrified I'm doing it now. But I won't stop, we are in week 5 and I have done it so far, I can do 10 more days. What doesn't kill your makes you stronger, right?
QOTD: I am so bad at quoting movies and shows. DH and kids play off each other with quotes and one liners and I am always at a loss. The only time I could quote a movie, actually full dialogs, when DD was 2-3 years old and wanted to watch bug's life on repeat. I think we watched that movie 150 times in a span of 6 months. That's when I could recite the whole movie.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Rolled oats w/almond butter
- Iced coffee w/PP, epic chicken, rice cake with almond butter
- TJ kebabs w/fage yogurt
- E: 5 miles uphill wog , 1/2 hr weights
Happy jr Fri-yay!

Oh I forgot about The Little Mermaid. That one is in my brain for life.
Hmm this thread is making me realize that I store way too many tv shows in my brain and should probably make more room for math formulas and other useful stuff.

popculture is way more useful than math formulas

I Had 2. I think I saw Grease as a 7th grader 75 times and when HBO first hit the airways the only movie, they played on a loop was the Incredible Shrinking women. Love Lilly Tomlin!
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
Good morning or afternoon! Busy morning for me so I've been late to the computer. Stairs done (22 minutes, 1 stop), yard cleaned up, winter bedding stripped and summer bedding put on and pedi done and now I have cute little yellow toes with daisies. What's not to like about this morning? I'm starving though. No food yet today so that's warming up as I type.
Food was good yesterday. But Sheila has one less Belgium chocolate to steal from me. Beet salad was awesome and I have lots of orange vinaigrette left over and a plan for it with sea bass later in the week.
QoTD: My little four pack core family throw Airplane lines at each other at all times when we are together.
Menu today
brunch chicken breast with parmesan cheese and light breading and 2 baby potatoes
snack leftover tri tip
Dinner I'm attempting to make smash burgers with lots of caramelized griddled onions and cheese. No bun for me. I've got 4 ounce burger balls weighed out and ready to smash on a hot flat top. I'm excited about my dinner and I might have a bit more beet salad with it.
Peace Everybody. Hope your able to stay cool.

Airplane is one of Rob's favorites! I still have not made it through the whole thing to this day (sad). The lines go over my head, yet he continues to shoot them at to me.

It was excellent! I used a heavy 6" skillet to do the smash part. Put the ball on the griddle, covered it with a piece of parchment (per my daughter's suggestion) started at an angle at the back and pulled hard toward me and smashing down. Made about a 6" wide by 1/4" thick patty out of 4 ounces. I used 85% ground beef. Added the heavily grilled onions and a bit of cheese. I was perfectly happy with no bun/tortilla/transference device. Highly recommend!
