What's on your Thursday Menu?

I have never seen Dirty Dancing. Or gotten a tattoo.

I have been to Detroit. Everyone told me I just HAD to go to this sub shop, a mile or two from the airport. Vinnie, I think it was. I got a steak and cheese sub, took two bites, and threw it out. Worst thing I've ever tried.

Oh! I've never heard of us having a famous sub shop. Did that person not like you?!

The two food groups that Detroit is most known for - you'd eat one. Southeast Michigan has tons of "Coney Islands" which are Greek style diners that serve chili dogs and burgers and fries in addition to avgolemono soup and spanikopota. Yummo. The second is, many people don't know this but Michigan has the largest population of Middle Eastern people outside of the Middle East! Many people moved to America from the ME to work at Ford. So, Michigan has insanely delicious Middle Eastern restaurants! I know you wouldn't eat shish taook or hummus or fattoush salad or falafel - but I'm gonna make sure I do! Lol!

I was there with a friend who is vegan. I got my steak and cheese, he got some vegan sub. We both thought they were the worst things, ever, and both threw them out.

Ask your people if they know Vinnies, out by the airport.

I watched Dirty Dancing so many times growing up. The day Em started her period we watched it and Pretty Woman and she ate Krispy cream donuts, popcorn and candy.
