What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I think they do assisted listening now as well. They give you a pair of headphones and you can crank up the volume. If that helps.

That is something I was not aware of. Most of the time I am fine if the volume is high enough. I have special headphones I use at home sometimes so I can have my volume louder than other people would be comfortable with.
I have just waited to watch movies when I could see them at home. But I am really interested in Oppenheimer and would love to see it on the big screen. It opens here next week and I will go and see how it works out.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Woo, more cookies! What's the theme of this class?
QOTD- I'm perfectly okay with saying neither on this one.
So the tree came down yesterday. They brought someone who wanted wood and he took most of it. They lit the signal fire of gondor in my pasture and it burned, burned, burned. When I went out to manage it later it melted the protective coating on my glasses, so now I need new ones.
I had the crew cut the trunk a bit high as I want to turn it into a birdbath. Project time!
Exercise ended up being surprise yard work as I lugged as much wood as possible from the various locations to the burn pile before therapy last night. I'm sore. This is goooood.
Menu today
Breakfast- last English muffin with turkey and pepper jack
Second breakfast- banana
Elevensies- Built bar
Lunch- chicken breast with onions for extra dragon power
Dinner - protein pudding made with a fairlife shake
Supper- chicken sausage and peppers
Snack - ham on wasa
Cheers!

Thanks! I could have sworn they brought it down on the house at one point. Very glad to let the professionals handle it. All bonus exercise is needed and welcomed!

Aerial Yoga ?!! You rock Girl !
IT's something I've long planned to try but my upper body inflexibility ( and arthritic changes in neck and shoulders at a shockingly early age ) means I can barely do a half- backbend .... But I'm working on improving it .... CBD cream and daily stretching and baby exercises ( still painful) seem to be helping .
Yesterday was devilishly hot and I was jumping through hoops for three apartments ( the third is a pre war two bedroom literally steps from Riverside park ( my favorite park because its quiet and miles long and runs by the water) . The corner terrace on this one is about 400 square feet so the smallest and the river view is a bit obstructed so its my third favorite.
I should hear back from the twentieth floor one today ( of course the last item i uploaded was " in the wrong format " and then decision making will be simple .
Food was good - I could barely eat a couple of bites of breakfast then ran until 7 pm on a few cookies and fat free cheese slices . Dinner was an indulgent half of a fresh shrimp parmesan hero .
Its nice waking up feeling a little skinnier lol .
I'm enjoying the sunrise on my back porch surrounded by flowers and herbs and amazingly productive patio size vegetables ( well not the heirloom tomatoes but theyre still little ) , drinking tea and fresh squeezed orange juice and finishing off my sub.
headed back to the city for a one pm meeting so just going to prune a little and return that furniture hopefully. And at nine Ill try to reformat that pesky last upload with some competent help.
L - something on the way and leftover apple cabbage slaw ( no mayo ) delicious!
D - something on the way
have a great day y'all !

You've mentioned PT for your back before, glad you're starting to see some benefit from it.

Good mornin everyone.
Not a lot going on today. I think we have the kids again.
Yesterday was kind of rough with my digestive tract. I am going to have to go to a more bland diet for a while. I felt like I could've breathed fire. It's feeling better today so far but I really need to watch it.
My incision is really bothering me and I seem to be hitting it a lot. Goes to show you what a klutz I am. I've cut back on the pain med a bit.
QOTD: I'm not interested in either. My only Barbie growing up met her end to a bottle rocket. I can't sit for 3 hours either...and like Jen sooooo not interested in the nudity.
food is yet to be determined.

Good morning everyone. The world never ceases to amaze me. Yesterday's revelation was that one of the multitude of Republican presidential candidates who can't participate in the presidential debate without a minimum number of individual donors, so he's offering $20 gift cards in exchange for new $1 donations. And a chance to win a Yeti cooler! Yee haw! By God, we really are Number 1!
QOTD: I have no interest in Barbie, but I'd take JB if she wants to see it. Frankly, all the buzz over the movie astounds me. I really don't understand the appeal. I'll definitely watch Oppenheimer though. If anyone is interested, a new documentary on Oppenheimer, "To End All War," just dropped a couple of days ago.
When my daughter was little, we picked up an old wooden card catalog the library was getting rid of. She discovered it was perfect for the many Barbies an uncle kept giving her. She would open the drawers for people to show off what she called her "Barbie morgue."
