Good Morning and Happy Hump Day! What's going on? Not much going on here. I literally made and bagged icing for my weekend class from 7:30am - 3:30pm yesterday! Today is decorating day!

QOTD: It's Barbenheimer season! Are you more excited to see Barbie or Oppenheimer? Or both? I'm a Barbie Girl in the Barbie World. Life in plastic--it's fantastic! I can't wait :)

Accountability: Perfect until....... I remembered that my niece brought be back a Nutella filled wafer cookie from Austria, and I ate the crap out of it before I went to bed. So good but, ugh.

Good morning and yay Wednesday!! Busy day at work, my trainer is coming to train me here so she can check out my aerial yoga and trx set up and I need to do some rowing. Fortunately, I woke up at 1:15 so I can definitely get it all in!!

QOTD - I was looking forward to the Oppenheimer movie until I learned it's 3 full hours and for some reason includes "extensive nudity of Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh"...not really what I expected in the biopic of the "I am become death" dude. I might still see it if someone confirms there's an intermission, lol, otherwise I'm waiting for it to stream. I don't have any plans to see Barbie, though.

Menu today

coffee plus half and half X 3

yogurt or English muffin

shredded chicken enchiladas X 2

Have a great day everyone!

I am so in awe of your workout equipment and of the fact that you actually use it. Most people buy it and never use it after the novelty wears off.

Oh, I had years of that, believe me! My first elliptical made great hanging space. I bought a treadmill when I moved to the surface of the sun and had a handful of tv series I could only watch on the treadmill so that helped start the habit of using my equipment (that was before I had the iFIT workouts)... and then I took the commitment to exercise my program had me make seriously and now I do feel bad when I don't work out consistently. I do have rules about not getting anything new until whatever I added last is fully part of my program.

It is still inspiring that you take it seriously. One of my best friends is going to be 86. She took up line dancing when she retired at 65. She dances somewhere almost every day and is still fit and agile. She can keep up with younger people with no problems. I know it is because she never quit moving.

I quit going to movies when I had severe hearing loss in 2012. I need closed captioning and the system available in the theater did not work when I tried it. Now that COVID is no longer a big concern I am tempted to go back to the theater and give their closed captioning device another try. Oppenheimer for three hours would be something I would be willing to sit through, especially if there is an intermission.

I think some of the theaters have added the same type of closed captioning at the bottom of the screen; I see it advertised as "on screen" captioning--but most still do that weird side display captioning. Not sure why.
