I don't think you will be baking cookies again, but it will be fun to see what the program offers. Life is strange and you never know what you might want to do after you retire from whatever new adventures open up with your new education.

Good morning! It's bright and beautiful out there and I'm headed out soon.

I was very good with everything yesterday, even skipped my earned piece of chocolate. But then I had a decent sized glass of wine while I was cooking dinner. Still under my calorie range, but also still unnecessary calories.

Today I am heading out to walk up to Mt. Helix and do their amphitheater stairs. There are not a ton of them. Maybe 40. I do one set singles, circle around, one set two at a time, circle around, one set by doing 5 stairs, 5 bench sits, 5 stairs, 5 push ups. Today my goal is to complete my stair cycle twice before I head back down to my car. Which I will then take and get washed. It STILL has Texas mud on it in a few hidden crevices. And then I hope to get the kitchen cabinets scrubbed down this afternoon. I got the bedrooms/bathrooms/hallway/laundry room scrubbed yesterday. We have mission style cabinets and high trim boards on the floors and all those ledges are massive dust magnets. And out temporary renters didn't clean them at all so I've been working my way through.

QoTD: Didn't know it was prime day. LOL...but there will be some Old Navy shopping thanks to Amy!

Menu:

B: chicken parm patty left over from last night and cottage cheese

L: Not sure yet

D: BBQ cups and salad

Peace Everybody!

One of the very few things from my childhood my Mom made that I still love. Rolled out pop biscuits (like Pillsbury), filled with cooked and crumbled ground beef and sautéed onions with bbq sauce stirred in. Tuck biscuits in muffin tin, stuff with ground beef mixture and top with cheddar cheese. Bake and bite. I'll eat one whole and the insides of one. I never claimed it was a nutritious dinner!

Good morning everybody!

DD and my youngest son went to Massachusetts this morning. My daughter is a typical accountant and books all of her travel on 6:00 AM Southwest flights to get the lowest fares. My son decided to wait until this morning to pack.

Marilyn drove them to the airport. I didn't even roll over to wish her safe travels. Just woke up and they were gone. We had pizza for the going away last night, but we couldn't get it until 8:45. That's a late dinner for me.

I opened a bottle of wine but it was corked, so I dumped it out and opened a 2023 Diet Coke. I rated it as thin and metallic with hints of artificial sweeteners.

Today I'm in the office for the first time in awhile.

QOTD: No idea.

Breakfast: Protein bar

lunch: chicken

dinner: pizza

Have a great day, all!
