G'morning all!

A little late to the party. Had to make calls home first thing this morning because it's my nephew's bday, in Wales, but also my brother's bday who passed in 2013, so talking to my mom and reminiscing about the good days. Asked her to get a bouquet of flowers from me for his tomb. Anyways, rough morning but also happy. I feel bad for my poor nephew who was born on the same day and at the same time; both born at noon on 7/10. My sister never associates her son's bday with our brother's but my mom does that all the time and it's kinda hard on poor Luca!

QJB - so very happy the party went well. That pic of you and Grim is so cute, I love the color coordination.

We had a nice weekend with nothing major planned. I have to share this pic because it was so random. DH had taken his nephews out in the water for a paddle boarding session. When they came out this little girl ran up to them and asked a ton of questions. Her mom said she loves Halloween and she always wear a mask. My hat is off to the mom for nurturing the kid's creativity but if I had a little one running around with that mask it would creep me out. When DH sent me the pic I thought the girl was photoshopped.

QOTD: an icecream maker, so I can have all the icecream I want.

My meals yesterday:

• Coffee
• Rolled oats with berries
• Eggwich
• Protein tiramisu
• Tuna, unexpected cheddar with soy crackers
• E: weights

I thought for sure you were going to go with espresso machine! That picture is all kinds of creepy but what good sports the guys are, they don't look terrified at all

Good point, but between coffee and icecream for eternity, icecream wins. Coffee is dominant now because I can't have all the sweets I want.

We had a neighbor who would only wear a Dora the Explorer nightgown, but that pales in comparison to the mask.

Ice cream is supposed to come OUT of the ice cream maker.

If I'm the icecream maker I will decide how much out put I'll have and how much I'll keep to myself.

Sorry but there is something seriously wrong with that mother. I could see something like a Minnie Mouse or Disney Princess mask if the kid was obsessed, but that mask is downright creepy.
