I shudder at the thought of seeing snakes while hiking. If it is hot, you probably would not see any snakes since they seek shade in the heat but if it is more moderate temperatures or cooler weather, they will sun themselves.

We have a ton of snakes here. Lots of rattle snakes. I once stepped on one and I can tell you I had never moved that fast until then and since. Scared the crap out of me. Snakes can be so neat looking but they are nope ropes for me.

You are killing it on calories. I hope you are greatly rewarded on the scale. I would not be a nice person under 1000 so glad you are able to do it.
Still working on the pool and trying to get my mom to medicate herself to get rid of this UTI. See nothing for me just for everyone else. I never have me time just my 30-minute run in the morning. I am glad I brought it back to my routine. I forgot how mentally rewarding it can be.

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

One of the problems with older women is that the bladder drops and stays in a lower position and gets infected easily. The muscles that hold it in place no longer do their job properly. The only way to get rid of the UTI is to take the antibiotic for the full ten days. Most people don't fini**** and the infection does not clear up.
What I find helps me is using the feminine wash on the bidet every time I pee. I paid an electrician to put a plug behind the toilet, and paid a plumber to install a Biobidet 2000 toilet seat. It has a nightlight, heated seat, endless warm water and blow dryer. Something your mom might want to consider doing to prevent them in the future.

First TMI. LOL and she does take the pills for the 10 days but she doesn't drink water so that is what I am contending with. Also, her mind is crazy not there, so it is hard to get her in a routine.
