Thank you for sharing. Firework were fierce here. Rudy would not go out, so it was a night of accidents. Poop everywhere. So not happy but understandable. I 2nd the Fall Out Boys version of We didn't start the fire. So disappointing.

Luckily, my two sweet baby puppies are not afraid of the fireworks! I am lucky since so many dogs are traumatized by the loud noises.

G'morning all!
QJB - no wonder you are hangry, you are surviving on 500 cals. I hope your stomach issues are better today and you get to feed yourself with yummy food. The party will be a smashing success, I have no doubts about it.
On my way back from CO to CA. What a great trip it was. Not just because I saw the kidlets for full 4 days, but also because I finally met Jen in person. She is as funny and witty in person as she is online, and she is a great host. Her Dead concert description is spot on. The day we spent with her touring a few salient spots was my favorite. Colorado should hire her as the state ambassador, and my kids want to adopt her as an auntie. During our 4 days we visited Boulder, Golden & Dillon. Jen's intentions to have us visit Red Rock and fall in love with it were successful, because we are already thinking about when to come back for a concert. We took tons of pics so here's an initial teaser.
QOTD: The language of flowers by Vessa Diffenbaugh, it's not a botanical book, it's a story, but it left me meh.
Normal people by Sally Rooney, it was the best book of the year, NYT best seller, etc etc, but I can't even remember the story even after re-reading the summary. On my book list I gave it a thumbs down.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Left over prosciutto, salami, mozzarella
- Barebells bar, cold brew with sweet cold foam
- Beef jerky, roasted Brussels sprouts
- E: leisurely walk around Dillon reservoir
Happy hump day!
