Fireworks that explode or leave the ground are illegal here. You could not tell at all that there were any rules, lol.

Pennsylvania is terrible and local laws allow them to 1:00am so the police do not have to answer Firework calls. It is terrible. I never minded till Rudy came into our lives.

they are illegal in the county I live in. However, we live on the border of Idaho where they are legal so people go over there to purchase, bring them back home to shoot off. This was done in an effort to reduce fires (apparently it has worked according to news reports).

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in San Diego and I am headed out to walk and do my old lady chair yoga class. I hope we have the same substitute instructor as last week. Old lady chair yoga or not, she kicked my ass! I got in a great work out yesterday and I am very proud of my food choices. I had exactly one pita chip from all the tons of snacks they laid out. And then a bunless burger and 1/4 of a corn on the cob. Lots of water and a little wine. A very good day catching up with a bunch of people.

Today is zero plans after my workout, but I have got laundry started so that's real exciting. And I may need to file an insurance claim. I was wearing one of my pre weight loss wedding rings last night and it seems to have disappeared. I need to search Roger's car well when he gets home before I go into panic mode. I knew I shouldn't have worn it and I did it anyway. Such an idiot.

While I am not counting calories as carefully as you girls are, I've been inspired to get back to using my scale and measuring tools to make sure my volumes are as I believe them to be and stop guessing.

Menu today seems like it will be:

B. piece of homemade spinach and cheese frittata and one piece of bacon

L. the last of my beef fajita innards

D. TJ's frenched pork chop with bacon jam, a bit of mashed potatoes and sliced heirloom tomatoes.

Peace Everybody!

Yes! It's like we never left. Got home, cleaned out the rig and put it back into storage and jumped right back into our regular routines. Life is very bizarre.

QJB-It is nice to have a lazy day here and there. Your low calories are amazing. It is no doubt if you were hungry, you have a hangry temper tantrum. Good luck on getting through your to do list.

Today is my first day back in the office. I have to admit I kinda liked working from home. Although I will be the first to admit that I am not as efficient from home as I am in the office.... too many distractions at home. This weekend DD and I went to the movie No Hard Feelings, which I really enjoyed but you got to like raunchy humor. DD also pointed out if the characters were reversed (older male and younger female) it would have been more taboo of a situation. DS went to Astroid City, he recommended it so I would like to see it. Have you heard about the Oppenheimer + Barbie movie watching plans some people are doing? There are people who are going to both on the same day (they have the same release) as there is a Team Barbie and Team Oppenheimer. I will probably see both films but not on the same day. Barbie was probably my favorite toy when I was little, so how can I miss the movie?

I have been using Simply Lite no sugar added chocolate bars (1- serving) as a nightly treat. First, I purchased from Trader Joes, then they no longer had them. Now I can't find them online. It actually turned out to be a good thing since I found a better tasting and consistency bar. Here are the ones I found that I really like: Red Delight (currently on sale at Kroger for $1.50 a 50% savings), Gatsby (180-200 for an entire bar or 60 calories per serving of about 30 gm!), and Lily no added sugar brand has about the same calories as the Red Delight with some really good, creamy flavors. Just thought I would share for those of you who like to have a sweet here and there without all the extra calories. They do have artificial sweeteners so if you have an intolerance be sure to check the ingredients.

QOTD: If I don't like it I just turn it off. Now I need to think about it....

Accountability: Excellent

B: triple zero greek yogurt with keto granols and berries

L: Asian chicken salad with sesame ginger dressing

S: zero calorie blended iced coffee drink with sf zero calorie chocolate syrup (xanthan gum thickened drink so like a frappicinno)-this fills me up making me feel full plus is a delicious treat

D: Chicken and berry salad with light poppy seed dressing

S: sf chocolate, protein frosty
