Hope you feel better! It's hard to make sense of what your body will reject sometimes.

Your kitty would love the country gophers here. I think they're on steroids.

QOTD- Coming up blank at the moment.

I was overly optimistic in thinking the fireworks would be mild. It was a war zone until 3AM. And then not to be outdone the last one was at 4:50AM. I did sleep but not very well. Did I mention I hate fireworks? And it was 97 yesterday.

I worked yesterday and went to the grocery store, needed mandarins, grapes and Fairlife milk. But somehow the giant container of Red Vines ended up in my cart. I'm going to try to find some local strawberries today, there is a farmers market from 3-7 near me.

I'm afraid that someone has hacked my social security because I'm unable to get into my account, I tried resetting the password but it tells me that they can't verify my identity. I torture myself every month seeing how much I would get if I retire. Only 14 months until full retirement age. I need to call them today, another adventure in identity theft.

I need to get to work.

Have great day everyone!

The people where you live are insane to be lighting things off that late. Or drunk. Or avoiding rain. Or all three. Any way, I'm sorry and hope you're okay. Is the social security office closed?

Good morning all. Trying to get started on a diet is agony. Actually getting started is even worse. That's something we all have in common, for sure.

4 more days til freedom!

QOTD: I don't think I can recall a truly bad movie from the recent past. For tv shows, FUBAR was truly horrible. In books, avoid "Retreat From Kabul: The First Anglo-Afghan War, 1839-1942, by Gearge Bruce. It was not good. I hadn't realized it was first published in 1969, and it was pretty obvious.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

When I was reading the temper tantrum story all I could thing was Why didn't she cook and egg? But you beat me to the punch line. Hope that works out for you.

OK my race was a success. I ran a 33:07 (official race time). No 27 minute like I did 3 years ago but I am taking it for the win since I only started training a month ago. I was 8th in my age division and 383 out of 560 in the race. Not bad for an old lady and I was running with a bunch of you 30/40 somethings, and I kept up. My cousin Erin did get a bust of speed and ended in 26 minutes. She did great I was so proud. Photo Bomb
